... whatever happened to Tasha Wassink/Gizmo, MrLee, Savante Romero, and Kim "Leonardo" Garvin?

MrLee's around, I see him on AIM and in email, not sure where Gizmo is, only seen Savante once since the war started (he was in the army reserve, though I'm not even sure the Savante I saw was the one we know... he didn't act like himself at all).  Leonardo still comes to #TMNT every now and than, she's moved to the West Coast so doesn't usually come on IRC since most of us are on the East side.   Though Leo says she may join here when she gets the time, so we're waiting for her

You weren't referring to Saiman31 when you mentioned Mr.Lee, were you? I still get e-mails from him sometimes, but he doesn't have AIM anymore.

I would love to see Gizmo come back. She's been gone for ages now, you know!

Mr Lee only has internet access at the library, so he's not online very much. He does pop onto LJ sometimes and I've been playing some IYT games against him.

~Savanti emailed me a couple of months ago-- he sure sounds like the same old Savanti to me!    

        And I see Kim/   all the time on the Cosplay list.  I *wanted* to see her live and in person this summer but I didn't make it to SanD this year.....

Gizmo/Tasha's site is still up, but I haven't heard from her in literally years.....

Thanks GW!  I've been worried about Savanti!!!!! He seemed to have disappeared off the Earth.  I'm guessing the person I saw for a minute on IRC wasn't him than, cause the guy I was talking too didn't even seem to care about TMNT... and just was a bit cold... had me very worried.

GW made it!  Yay!  *waves from the 100's of miles between us*  As for Tasha, I saw her last at San D Comic Con 2000.  It was a year I foolishly left behind a blue-striped April action figure at her boyfriend's booth and never got it back.  The same thing happened to Venus' (Karen T) who probably had a TMNT figure more rare than mine!  I remember we were both in Final Fantasy costumes and didn't want to carry our figures around.  Venus has tried to contact Tasha about the figures, but never got a reply.  Oh, well.  That was a long time ago and I no longer care about losing the figures.  I would like to get in contact with her again because she was such a cool person!

I seriously hope she's OK... as enthusiastic as she was, I really can't believe she'd just up and vish so abruptly and for so long.

~Not to caste too dark a shadow on this but as I recall Gizmo had some health complications right around then....Yeah, I really hope she's OK.

Maybe her old email on her website still works...?

Last anyone's heard of her is apparently February of 2003... she announced on both lists she was getting married in April of that year.

Odds are she probably moved on with her life and gave up on TMNT, which is sad cause she wrote some great fan fiction!

They're still around, but they've been busy as heck with their real lives as well. I mean just look at the current states of their websites. Dawn never even got around to uploading most of her stories and she left her links in pretty sad shape. Atleast HT had gotten around to fixing up her page though now that she's got some downtime with her pregnancy.

Well Donatello (HT) is still around, though I know right now she's doing a trip.  Dawnatello from what I understand is a lot more into Harry Potter these days, I do talk to her still here and there when I see her.   Though she does keep busy.  I know I miss talking with Dawn more, we use to be very very close.  Had a lot of great emails and everything... things have changed online... friends come and go... sometimes they're not totally gone, just kind of there in the back ground... we grow and take different roads.

Though we all know, once a part of this group you're always one of us.    No matter how far we drift apart, I know I'll stick my shell up for almost everyone I've met online (one or two exceptions, though I'm sure their shell is covered by the good friends they still have.).

I hope more from the past does return, it's nice to see so many faces I know here already, plus some new faces that I just met this year is now getting to know my friends that have been around since the mid 90's.   Maybe if Dawnatello gets some down time, we'll see her around.  I know I'll give her the link, and I'd be honored if she comes by to say hi.

Wow... Tasha Wassink/Gizmo, MrLee, Savante Romero, Kim "Leonardo" Garvin, Dawnatello... now those are names I haven't seen in such a long time. It would be so great to see them on here. But it's probably not to be. We all have our own paths to follow.

In fact, seeing some of the TMNT-L alumni on here is quite a thing as well. You folks' devotion to TMNT-L is quite amazing. As opposed to mine, since I left the scene quite some time ago. And to be honest, I'm quite surprised I'm back in it again. I just hope this time around I'll be around longer.

But to those who have not found their way here...
