I AM NOT GRIPING!!!  I expressed a random thought-- Jesus Christ!  I spoke directly to Wayne!  NO where in my DIRECT TO WAYNE comment did I gripe!  NOR did I try to start an argument!  NOR did I do ANYTHING other than post a thought I'd had regarding the teaser (again, a comment I directed to WAYNE!!), and I have had enough.  If anyone wants to debate, by God, let's debate, but let us do it in a thread that is NOT directly addressed to someone else.  

Oh, and just for the record, I tried addressing this in PM.  Obviously I did not make myself clear.


If I want to gripe, you will know it!

Tokka isn't a mod on this board, if you look through the member list you'd see that the mods here are Fugitoid (also founder of this forum), Raphael, Phoenix, Donatello and myself.

I just got home for a little bit between shopping for my nephew's birthday and now getting ready for dinner.   So I'm not here for long right now, though I have read the addressed topic that this is going off of.  

Jephael, though I know you were teaseing because the subject of the 4Kids VAs not doing the voices for the movie keeps getting talked about in the movie area.  Though really it wasn't needed there.   I try not to bring up the movie too much there, knowing that Wayne is disappointed about not getting the job, so I don't drag the topics out.  I only asked if he wanted to join us, not knowing if he'd be up for seeing it at least.

Cynlee, if you have any questions for the mods or anything feel free to PM me.

Just read the thread in question too, and I have a thought/suggestion.

Please, folks, if you're going to make a joke, use the little smileys.  A little  Wink  can go a long way towards stopping someone from misinterpreting the typed word.  Smileys and the 5 minute rule ("Don't post a response to something that's torqued you off for at least 5 minutes") are two of the best diffusers for potentially bad situations.

And, yeah, ironic that I've got the Raphael nick, ain't it? Wink

Ok...now go beat up on someone.  Twisted Evil

I didn't read the post, but I agree with raph.  I have a tendency to type things out a bit sarcastic so I've made a habit of random smileys.  (Also tend to try to keep my facial expressions IRL happy when I'm sarcastic too....d'oh!)

I didn't mean to get all uppity like I've been doing, but I had felt this sudden urge to defend the movie makers and all the work they've done since the 1990s, which segwayed into a discussion about the TMNT fandom as a whole, which I've seen cause plenty of flame wars in the past. Not wanting to be responsible for bringing one to our humble site, I realize it's better to just leave well enough alone.
