Hey everyone,

I know we got a lot of voice actor fans in this place, so I figured that the voice acting credits should be given it's own topic to keep an eye on.  We'll like them as they're confirm offical voices in this first post.  And we can discuss the people behind or what we think of the voices we've heard so far in this movie here.

TMNT 4 Credits
Michaelangelo Mikey Kelly : Michelangelo
Donatello Mitchell Whitfield : Donatello
Raphael Nolan North : Raphael
Leonardo James Arnold Taylor : Leonardo
Splinter Mako : Splinter     (Sadly he passed away durning San D con weekend Sad/Down )
April O'Neil Sarah Michelle Gellar : April O'Neil
Casey Jones Chris Evans : Casey Jones (Who replaced Quinton Flynn which was the original Casey voice for this film).
The Foot Patrick Stewart : Winters
Foot Soldier Zhang Ziyi : Karai
Evil/Very Mad Kevin Michael Richardson : General Aquila
Pizza Kevin Smith : Greasy Chef
Katanas Billy West : Reporters and Jersey Devil

Extras:
Grey Delisle

Please if you have other voice actor names that you know worked on the movie.  Feel free to list them here, though also give the source of how you found out about this.  So that we can confirm these are real VAs in the movie.

(This topic will be updated when ever passable of releasing new VA names)

I've read that Tony Gordy does Leo's voice. I can't remember where I read it and I don't know how reliable the source is.

That is what I found after seeing your post-- they list him as "rumored", so yeah-- who knows, right?

Yeah, I guess at this point information is running pretty dry and some of it is questionable but it should pick up next month. I believe that's when Kevin Monroe said info on the voice actors would be released. Don't quote me on that though. Personally I'd rather see some new shots and or video clips from the movie or an official movie poster for that matter.

OH, Cynlee, I love your stories that I read on fanfiction.net by the way. Especially "Santatello" and "I Owe You One". Excellent job on those.

Even though we saw those in-the-making clips at Comic Con WITH voices, they're still not releasing the names worldwide.  Or, they're not releasing them in a easy spot such as IMDb.  Being a voice chaser, I'm curious to know who they are and what else they've done.

Yeah, what happened to "we're going to release the names by September"? It's October now, *g*.

I'm also anticipating the VAs' names released... and not like it matters in the end anyways, but it just pulls more of this movie together for those of us who didn't get see the Comic Con panels. Yes, and I agree with Mikey - more trailers!!! With voices!

WHERE ARE THE VOICE CREDITS?????  It's almost December!

Perhaps when the next trailer airs (this coming month, if we can believe the reports) then more info will be forthcoming.

I'm also getting worried that in a Steve Murphy post said that there where at least 'three celebrities' interested.

I thought they weren't going that route?

Kevin Munroe was adamant that the Turtles were not celebs.  It sounded like all the bulk of the recording was finished.  In the presentation he gave us, we heard a five-minute "preview" with the voices attached to the characters, and he told how when they recorded he had all four "turtles" in the booth together.  He also said that only voice-fans would prolly recognize the names of the actors.

Perhaps the interest Murphy mentions is in the past.  I will trust what I heard from Kevin Munroe in San Diego.

Grey DeLisle (Vicki on "Fairly Odd Parents") and Billy West (?????? WTF) are listed by imdb as "voices" for the movie!

Along with updating it to include Patrick Stewart et al, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0453556/fullcredits  they have listed those two voice actors without saying who they're playing.

Billy West??????

I have a hunch that Billy West is playing Donatello or one of the other turtles. In the trailer, his "Don" voice has a slight hint of his "Stimpy"/"Fry" voice in it.

I shudder to think of that, but you're prolly right-- I can't imagine they'd use a Known Voice actor for some bitty lil unimportant part.

(Sorry-- I like BW!  HONEST!)

And I should have known better than think I could "beat" the update at the top!!  LOL!

EDIT!  Watching the trailer yet again-- I wouldn't be surprised if Billy West was RAPHAEL! Shocked

I wonder why they're keeping the turtles' VA's under wraps and allowing us to know the humans and Splinter's voice first?  Do they think if they reveal the names, it'll make us less interested?

I think that by keeping the names under wraps, they generate more buzz.  Think about it: how much 'net bandwidth has gone to "when will we know who the TMNT actors are" since July?

I think the less we wonder about it in print, the sooner they'll realize they won't get any more mileage out of keeping it a secret.  Just my two-bit conspiracy theory, mind you...
