I am SICK of drama! Can I have one aspect of my life that's free of it PLEASE?!?! I've got people who simply do not understand "please leave me alone", an example of which being the guy who won't stop hitting on me at work despite the fact that he knows I have a boyfriend. He's a nice guy and all but that doesn't mean I'm going to ditch my boyfriend of five years for a divorced fourty some odd year old guy who reminds me a little too much of my biological father! At work my supervisor leaves for a month and then POOF he's back and oh yeah by the way we have two major projects that need to be done THIS WEEK. The kicker being that the one that we has to be absolutely 100% done by next week we have till Monday to do. The one that has to be done in October and hasn't even been started because we don't have anything on it yet has to be done Friday. And by "Friday" he really means "before Monday" so yeah odds are I'll be at work this weekend. At home my family is just insane! My 18 year old little brother who was going to join the Marines and marry his fiancee when he got his training done with (though to be honest we all assumed they would break the engagement while he was gone) got the previously mentioned fiancee pregnant and is now getting married tomorrow. No one, not even Jaime (fiancee) is sure why he feels the need to do this NOW since it's not like they can't wait a week or two. Of course this pops up hours after hearing about the work nonsense so I have to leave work early tomorrow instead of staying late like I need to. NO DRAMA! DRAMA IS BAD! But venting is really good...  |

Woah, that's a fast rush for a wedding!!!
I hope everything goes ok, and I'm sorry there's so much stress in your life right now. (I know what you mean about venting, been doin a little of that in DJ and here).

Yeah and to be fair he was planning on getting married already, they were already engaged. But still my little bro has a habit of rushing into things so we're all fairly certain that this is a really dumb idea.
Eh, he's my family though, gotta at least pretend to be supportive and all that.
As far as work goes we've decided that our supervisor is on some sort of drugs... that has to be it.

Sorry to hear of the chaos.
Wishing you well, because I understand work overload all too well, but the family thing like that? eeeep!
As for work, sorry your supervisor is not "all together" because if that other coworker doesn't stop hitting on you, and you have told him to stop, you reallllly need to talk to your supervisor about it. That behaviour is inappropriate for the workplace!
And if he goes far enough along with it, it could either turn into hostile work environment or possibly sexual harassment. Don't let it get too far!! If you nip it in the bud early enough, then it won't get nasty where people get fired or lawsuits and crazy stuff.
This is from someone that works at a place they MAKE us take sexual harassment/etc. classes every single year. I've seen some really awful production work of videos we labeled soap operas. The critical right choice is to talk to the supervisor early on, in every case, if you already requested the other person to stop and they don't.
You don't deserve that kind of drama on top the rest of the ones!!

Yeah naturally today I really need to stay late but I have my brother's wedding. -_- YAY for taking my work home with me. /sarcasm

Well I'm done with one part of my drama... supposedly... but I thought I was done with it before so it will take me a while before I actually believe it. Enough said on that one.
And my brother's wedding went off... interestingly. On the way there we were caught by an accident that closed the entire road down, we ended up turning around and calling someone to show us an alternate route to the church. Then during the ceremony it started to storm and the power went out. Later on the way home we got stopped by another bad accident. I hope Steven and Jaime don't believe in signs...

Oh this drama isn't pertaining to me really but I found out on the way to the wedding that my bro and his girlfriend got pregnant on purpose. My sister who is married and pregnant is soooooo mad right now. And thankfully they decided to lay off on one of the projects. We still have to haul hiney to get it done but they realized we couldn't get it done by Monday so I didn't have to work this weekend.  |
