Oops, Leo forgot to reply to MQ. ..work, in today's society, really isn't supposed to be fun, and OT, while less so, at least more money is rolling in. Making yourself more miserable than you have to be only makes it worse for yourself and everyone else around you. ...
Concentrating on how much it sucks, and letting it take over your life'll do nothing more than lead to a tortuous life and early grave. THAT would be why I at least try to look on the bright side...that being at the least "it could be worse".
Quite honestly, if it's so absolutely terrible, at least put effort into finding a different job. Sounds like good advice to me. Actually, it sounds rather familiar. Hmmm.

I didn't need to reply directly to Mo. I already talked to Mo on IRC the other night. Mo misread my post and it brought up personal memories of things for her. Mo and I don't have problems in our communications, and we understand the purpose of this thread forum.

Yep, Leo (whose rank is now Bebop?? *rolls*) and I are cool...
And yeah, working for oneself is a lot of hard work, in a lot of ways harder than working for someone else, I'm sure, but it seems that the feeling of reward would be better. The vast majority of small businesses actually lose money in the first year, if they even make it past that first year. My mom actually works from home part time doing case management stuff and works part time in a hospital doing the same thing to pay off the last of my brother's surgeries, and she's doing pretty well for herself and the boys, far better than I am for the hubby and myself right now...step-dad's currently in school, and while my brother does have a job, it only pays something like $9/hr, so she's the main income, and the fact they're doing so well does show that there is the possibility of self-sufficiency.
So anyway...yeah! I guess ya just gotta do what you gotta do to survive, y'know?

And thou art now Bebop as well, oh Moronic One. aaargh! Something else to toss onto the BBQ flame pit! (I know we did kinda have this discussion before, but now that the rank has come up Bebop, it's new ground again! ) *points to self* I am NOT Bebop! It's an evil plot to take over the boards by the enemy!!! Next thing you know, Bebop will try to come into Thread Killer and try to kill that. And it's probably Shredder behind everyone's Overtime too!!!!

Eh well, goes to show, I certainly am not into the post count. I don't look anything like Rocksteady. Speaking of work, my son is doing 9 hour days lately, 7 am all week, and next week, from 6 am onward. And guess who gets to drive him every day... Mmmhmmmmmmmmm.... yeaaaaah...

Twin Bebops, aaack! (Hey, since when does Bebop outrank Rocksteady? He was the somewhat smarter one out of the two. Not to mention a bit cuter.) Always thought rhinos were cute, especially baby ones. Actually, I don't mind driving my son to work and back, because he's paying for the car repairs. We have a deal.
