Message board idiots

Nope, no sarcasm this time, Aig (yeah, miracle, right?).  I was serious, you guys have caught on so much faster than the people on my other message board.

Like I said, it's not a fandom board, it's actually a message board for a city I've visited. To listen to some of the locals, you'd feel this:
1) You're only allowed to post if you currently live in the city. I'm guessing that includes the topics that are labelled "For visitors". Not sure what that means for tourists who post and ask "What tours should I do?" 'cause the locals never answer that question. I, on the other hand, could become a tour guide.
2) Theirs is the only city to have corrupt city officials, high taxes, bad neighbourhoods, loud motorcycles, etc.
3) Theirs is the only city to have neighbouring cities/towns that are snooty/snobby. Apparently, it's different when THEY say "We don't want that kind in our town" or "Only locals should post here"..

Which doesn't mean it's all bad. There are some discussions that are amusing/enlightening and don't involve politics (which is where a lot of the crap comes from).

Have to say, the way both Splinter and April lit into him for saying that was rather amusing.

I think those two are the only ones who can make Raph cringe. Two bad old mammals.

The same thing happen to me at a non-TMNT board, Raph, and I was getting so fed up, I did leave for awhile.  But, I was brutally attacked, given bad names and treated like major scum.  It got so bad, I built a wall up around me and I refused to open myself up to anyone ever again.  In fact, I still feel that way even now.  I was hurt to the point of no longer trusting anyone outside of the TMNT community.  I say that because I've known many of you for several years whereas other places I only know the people for a few months to a year.  But, yeah, the best thing I learned is to ignore the troll.  It pisses them off big time and they'll eventually leave when no one talks to them.  No fuel for the fire if you know what I mean.

Noticing a recent member to the board's posts....
Jerks who join boards with the purposes of posting sex stuff and other insipid messages that have nothing to do with the theme of the boards.
Wishes for them that they find a life with worthwhile purpose instead of harassing others and spreading their garbage.

*shrug*  Annoying Yes...  Though they keep life interesting... since they have no lifes, they're just out to amuse those who do.   *smirk*

Our little poster from last night has been banned, though now I'm excepting him to act like a baby and have friends join or rejoin under another account and start trying to cause trouble.      I'll keep an eye out for them.
