This is a map I played with to show where all the TMNT fans on this group are, at least as of today. Hard to do this all the way, since not everyone put their locations down in their profiles. Though I figured this would be an interesting way of finding where we're all located... Truthfully I'm surprised to see how many of us are on the East. I'll update this in the middle of the month each month (or as close to as I can), to show us spreading. And as more people come from other parts of the world, I'll try and get a gobal map going. What does everyone think of this idea? Updated November 2nd, next update in DecemberUpdated October 2nd, next update in November!

Wow, this is pretty cool. Nice to see where everyone's hiding at on a map. Though if you want to put mine in(if you haven't already, heh), it's in the lower left corner of the state. Maybe I can dig up a map, comandeer one of the weather maps that has counties even, heh, and circle the area I'm in. If you were confused, heh, sorry, my fault. I'll post the state I'm in, but I tend to leave the exact city out, especially after what happened to me this winter. I'll send that to you tonight. Very cool idea. Though, lol, all those turtle faces make me think of an episode of the Simpsons I saw recently where Homer clones himself with that evil hammock. The map that suddenly explodes in a bunch of Homer faces to show where the clones were at. *giggle*

I already got ya on there TN, I'm not trying to pick the areas of the state people are in... just get the states that people are in. Some states like NJ you can't even get the turtle faces on the state. So don't worry about that You're included. Didn't think it'll hurt, since there's no names on the little Turtle faces. Hehehe I got the idea for this, because of a map that was on the paper I got from TRU about the Turtle Tour. It's got a little Turtle face on the map for each area the Turtles are going too. I thought that'd be a great idea for us on the forum to know where each other are from. Next month I'll use a different Turtle face, to cover the new people, so people can tell who's been here longer and stuff as well from the map.

Ahh, ok. Wasn't sure if you were going for exact location or just the general state. Nevermind then. Still a very cool idea.

Wow that's cool, I don't know how to do that. And I like the idea of Turtle faces But that sounds like a really awesome feature.

~This is really cool. I dunno if you got me up there or not. I should be pretty much in the middle of CA-- at the "waistline" but closer to Lake Tahoe (the 90 degree angle here on the east side) than the Sacramento....if that makes any sense....

Oh, and btw Brina, I am SO jealous of your PL pic! You get to go *everywhere!* !! ~GW Well, I guess the reason why we went to Northampton was because it wasn't too far from Boston. I had tickets for the Ghosts and Gravestones tour and Ivey made a suggestion to drive to Mirage Studios after leaving Boston. I figured that would be cool to finally meet some of the Mirage Crew, if they were presently at the studio when we arrived!
There's actually a funny yet not so funny story behind meeting Peter. The not so funny part was before we went over to Mirage Studios, I fell down a brick staircase and banged myself up pretty bad. I got a nice bloody scratch on my ankle, my knees were skinned and my palms stung from where they hit the concrete. Oh, and I sprained my right wrist. Lovely. We went over to Mirage not too long after and told them I needed to get inside to wash up in the ladies room. I hobbled down the hallway in sheer pain and when I turned a corner, I caught Peter talking to someone! He looked at me strangely and said a faint hello. I uttered a low 'hi' and continued on to the ladies room. When I got back to the lobby, Ivey came in and told me to hurry up outside, saying Peter was out there but he was getting ready to leave. I had lost all enthusiam from hurting so much, yet I still managed to smile. Some of the Mirage Crew were teasing me when I refused to seek medical help. "Oh, I'll be okay," I told them and Jim Lawson joked, "You can still use your credit cards right?" I guess the funny part was I finally got to meet Peter, but I nearly killed myself over it!
And naaaaw, I don't get to go everywhere. I still haven't seen Paris!

We need to get more TMNT fans from Canada over here! Of course, this just shows how unique and special we are.

I'm glad you like it. I'm hoping I can keep up with this. Next month I'm going to try and do a different Turtle face to add in all the new faces we have here. And hopefully we'll get more people in those lonely states/country that's only got one or two people.
