In this issue the Turtles learn of the TCRI building and go in looking to learn of their past, though while there they learn that Splinter is being held there as well.  Though before being able to save Splinter the Turtles find themselves in a fight with these aliens that look like brains in the belly of these robot humans... the next thing the Turtles know they're transported away from not just the TCRI building... but Earth.

This issue was adapted into the 4Kids series in the episodes "Search For Splinter" Parts 1 & 2

As much as I still perfer the real deal of having the paper comic in hand, I will keep these topics updated with the Mirage site, so if they allow it on the web than I'll keep posting it here.

So for those of you who have not got the chance to read issue 4 yet, and would like to.  Please check out this link to the offical TMNT Web Site.

I know what you mean, Ivey. I always thought it was better when Dan Berger only had Vol. 1 #1 available to read on the site. It was a brief enough story that you felt enticed to get the whole series either issue by issue or via the collected books.

Anyway, #4 is above all one of my all time favorite Mirage issues simply because of the way all four turtles worked together. Plus this book was obviously done long before Mikey was given his goofy, laid back persona so this a very rare moment where we see him act in a more quiet manner.
