Ketchup Chips! (a photo intensive story!)

Ok, if any of you have been trying to follow the Thread Killer Thread, you may have noticed that Leo & I had a bit of a 'discussion' of potato chips at one point. Actually, it's becoming a bit of a running gag and, thanks to IRC last night, and Leo's picture post of last night, I've decided to do a little story about Raph, Leo, Ketchup Chips...and some other surprises...



"Yo, Leo...check it out. What do you think this is?"
"Looks like...Ketchup flavoured potato chips. Ewwww!"



"Maybe I should open them."
"I don't know, it may not be safe. They can be pretty dangerous from what I've heard."



"Whattya mean, dangerous? They're just lying there!"
"I don't know, Raph...something...wait, what's happening??"



"Aaaahhh!!!!! It's got me!"
"Hold on, Raph! I'll...."



"Ha ha! Just kidding bro." *Chomp* "Hey, this is pretty good, want some?"
"Are you insane?"



"C'mon, just one little taste. You gotta open your mind to new experiences, Leo!"
"Yeah, and when did you eat sushi last, Raph?  Oh...all right"



"Hey! These are pretty good!"
"See, I told ya so!  Hey, look over there....what's that?"



"Twinkies!"



"Oh no! They're being guarded. Quick! Play dead!"
"Just so long as you don't go plannin' any Sweet 16 parties, bro!"



"Get...this ... darned....thing...OFFA ME!"
"Um....oops?"



"He's fallen asleep...let's get outta here before he wakes up!"
"Yeah, he may want to nap on you again, Raph."
"Very funny, Leo..."

Note: No cats, turtles or Twinkies were harmed in the making of this story...but some Ketchup chips did get eaten...

But there's just one problem....saying Ketchup chips are pretty good???
Nooooooo!

That part with the cat takes it way over the top. Very funny!

And Syl's involvement was totally unscripted. He got tired of me shooing him away, and when I was trying to set up the Twinkies part, he just came in and took over. So, I worked with it.

Positively the most hilarious thing I've seen yet today.  

Next to me trying to de-clutter our master bedroom, that is.   LOL

Anyway, a brilliant photo-cartoon.  Loved the dialogue.  Oh, and your tuxedo kitty, Syl.  Perfect entrance.  I have a tux kitty, as well, but - um - Buster's more vampire than cat, I'm afraid (and both ankles know this all too well, in fact).

And Sylvester has been known to give me more than a few permanent tattoos with his claws/teeth. He can go from cuddly kitty to biting with the jaws of a pit bull in 2 seconds flat.

Currently, he's snoozing on my desk, managing to completely ignore me as I check out his paws. If I turn off my monitor, he'll react 'cause he'll think I'm leaving for the night and about to give him some treats.

Yes, one of us has the other very well trained...I'm just sure which is which...

I didn't even know Lays made Ketchup potato chips until I read this.  Dill pickle chips and ketchup chips...hm...mustard flavored chips....I bet that will be next! XD

Ketchup probably doesn't have the smoky flavor a BBQ chip would have....
Still, don't think that would be on fave list, even if one does dip fries into ketchup. If I wanted that on my potato chip, I'd dip it in real ketchup....

As for Mo, she's lucky there's no MoronQueen action figure! Otherwise I'd probably buy some English Muffins and stuff to set up a Mo's Happy Fridge shoot. (Could you imagine that? Including Jar of Baxter??) Except my fridge would never qualify because I don't have the water cooler/ice maker stuff.
