Hungry Raph -- with photos!

On a dark and stormy night, when the waves crashed high...
 
In a Lair far, far away...
 
One night, after a battle where the TMNT kicked Hun's buns, Raph announced, "I'm hungry!"
Leo feared for Raph, what if he got something that might involve twinkies and copious amounts of DC! "After you were so kind to offer me those ketchup chips recently *cough*, come over and get something to eat at my place."
Hungry Raph agreed.



"Would you like some fruit, Raph?"
"This orange is from Australia! What if I eat it and it makes me do something weird like Shorebuck?"
"Really, Raph! Then what about this? The plum is from California."
"...."
Hungry Raph gave that a thumbs down.

So Leo took Raph to the fridge. (As opposed to THE Fridge.   This is a Nardo fridge, there IS a difference.)



"So what about some miso soup? I got some tofu and--"
"Leo--what's that jar over there, fishy stuff?"
"The daishi? That's for the miso soup, it's bonito flakes--"
"Grr. And that umibushi stuff?"
"Umeboshi. Pickled plums--it's great in rice as--"
   
"Uh, okay...Raph, let's go check out the freezer. Maybe we'll find something you'd like to eat there."



   
"uh...on second thought, forget the freezer."
Leo ushered Raph away from the lovely calamari steaks, the salmon, and sword fish....over to something to try to calm Raph down.



"Some tea, perhaps? There's this wonderful stuff from Leah Nardo from Hawaii...."
"Leo...it's all green stuff. Don't you have any DC? No soda? Just an empty 7-UP can??"
"Gomen nasai, bro."
"Yeah, well, I'm still hungry!"
Desperate to find *something* for Raph, and knowing Raph was irked, Leo sought the comfort food.



"Here Raph, have a bag of chips."
       
"Raph! Now refusing the miso and the seafood is one thing, but these are chips. Made out of potatoes, like Sam Gamgee would like. Not fisssh. Po-ta-toes."
"But, they're....*tone of doom* Limon flavoUred."
"Yes, Limon. I ate some of those Ketchup flavored chips...."
 



"ooh, I can't believe I am going to do this."
"Raph, don't be such a baby."



*munch munch*



"Raph!"
"...."
"Raph? Does this mean you're officially RaphDead16?"



"AM NOT!"
"Raph, you really are such a baby!!"

THE END
                 

*No action figures were injured or poisoned during the photo shoots*
*Raph did actually consume a Limon flavoUred potato chip, but whether he died or not may never be known*
*Chibi Raph made a special appearance in honor of watching too much anime*

Ahh, that was worth the wait...well done, bro!

Do these Limon chips have any amount of salt with them? That might make 'em edible...just so long as they don't mutate one into a chibi version of themself.

Now...should I do another story.....?  Hmmmmm......

ah well, that's what one gets for having to post one's story as "first draft".
I just couldn't pass up using the toddler Turtle in the photo shoot.

As for the Limon chips? Yes, they have salt. It's not like eating a sweet lemon flavor.
Do you have the lime flavored tortilla chips, too? Those are great with salsa.
 

Also, my fridge and freezer are not all seafood and stuff. But I had to do editing to include the stuff that would work for the story.
 
Glad you enjoyed it. And I could see some ongoing battle of Raph and Leo about food....
Of course, what if Mike and Raph got involved in that, too? Mikey in particular with food could be enough to kill many stomachs. (The DRINK?!)
Hm, then there's all our other TMNT-L characters....like a photo shoot of a trip through THE Fridge....
er....then again.

I have a question. How can anyone who eats Angelo style pizzas and drink the DRINK not like sushi?

Leo: Yes, we have lime flavoured Tostitos, never tried them though. We've also got another flavour of chips that was a lime & salt combo (obviously, I'm sketchy on the details), which is why I wondered if yours had salt too. That could make them edible.

Mike: No. The world, us, our cameras...nothing will ever make anything ever ready for THE DRINK!

Aig: Glad I don't eat Angelo style pizzas and/or THE DRINK. Allows me to say I don't like sushi.

Um, actually, Aig, my avatar is an illustration from one of my stories.  The 'poor defenseless' caiman (as in Central or South America) was inches away from making Leonardo his breakfast de jour.  If not for Raphael jumping into the water when he did and playing hero, he would have had to vivisect the 'gator' to retrieve his brother - what was left of Leo, that is.  So, it goes without saying that sometimes it's either you or it in the wild wild world of things.

Hee... poor Raph, he sounds like a few of my freinds with a not so internationally diverse pallate, after seeing what it is hubby and I eat.  I think the flat dried squid we had once was the last call.  The aromatic kimchi and dried, roasted seaweed just made them wrinkle their face.  Or the seaweed soup (which I had to eat almost everyday during my maternity leave).  Hee...  

But seafood is the best!     (you should have had the shrimp flavored snacks to offered too, Leo!)
