These are the songs from the "Coming Out of Their Shells Tour" I'm wondering which of these songs is your favorite and why? Have you seen the Tour? Have you watched it on Video or Pay Per View, or do you have the sound track. Or did you stumble on it from a web site and studied up on it that way? No matter what way you learned of the tour what are your thoughts on it? Do you enjoy it? Does it mean anything important to you? It doesn't matter what you think, as long as you're polite about it, no bashing, and just realize this is a topic to have fun. *pout* Because I was only allowed 10 choices "I hate music" and "Skippin Stones" did not make the list. Though if you do like those songs, please feel free to post about it.

For favorite song I choose "Follow Your Heart". This song means a lot to me, because it reminds me so much of myself and the life I've gone through. I even made a fool of myself doing a really BAD version of it on VH1 (they were told not to use that, because I wasn't really singing it, I was just trying to recall the words... yet they used it... blah). When I first heard this song I didn't like it, it didn't have a beat, it didn't have the music behind it, it was just Mike singing a slow song... who would of thunk of Mike singing a slow song? It wasn't till I saw the show live that I found what that song really meant and through my life, it's one of the few songs that can relate to more than one part of my life. Fae has a much better version of me singing this song from Toronto Con, where I was doing it to sing it... not just to get the words out. *grumbles at VH1* At least it's for a good laugh, and the people at Playmate Toys enjoyed it The Tour means a lot to me, I saw the Tour Turtles nine times Live at three different times in my life. I even got to meet some of the guys and got back stage the last trip to meet them. If they were going on tour again, I'd be first in line to get tickets and I'd try to follow the show. It's so much fun, not just because of the show up on stage but the energy in the air, the excitement from the kids... the feeling that it really created. Going to the Tour was one of the best things in my life, and was really my first true TMNT adventures.

Mine's a tossup .. Sing About It, No Treaties and Follow Your Heart.
Sing About It - The power of music, man, the power of music...
No Treaties - Turtles CAN rock!
Follow Your Heart - Nice inspirational sort of song, from the heart.
Since I could only vote for one, I opted for Sing About it.

I had a hard time picking too. I love follow your heart (And thanks Ivey for singing it for me at Toronto Con, if any one wants to get a copy of that, if it's okay with Ivey i don't mind) because the meaning behind is very powerful.
For my choice though i had to pick Sing about it, because that's how i feel about things in my life and how i've dealt with it. By singing about it. Weather it was heartbreak or i was just feeling sad, singing helped me get through my hard times and helped me celebrate the good.
I still sing now, i make songs using karaoke music for rps i've been in and i'm working on two turtle songs now for how fans (Girls especially) Feel about our turtles! I also sing in a Sweet Adeline group, babershop singing, which is a lot of fun! I won't go on about it here, but if anyone has questions on that feel free to ask.
So yeah, Sing About It is my song of choice because it reflects who i am. I'm a singer and i'll sing my way through anything. Weather it'd be Phantom of the Opera to babershop ballads it doesn't matter. Music is my passion.
P.S. If this show ever went on tour again, Ivey i'll be right there with you! That would be a blast!

Nah, we don't hate you for choosing that song, Brina...everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Personally, don't much care for the April ballad or Skipping Stones (or the rather silly "I Hate Music" song of Shredder's - I mean, a song to say how much you hate songs???), but that's just my opinion.

How I can not like ya, for liking a song that I also like? True it's not one of my top three choices, though I have to amit the lines in the middle of the song about being alone, really do touch me because of my past. Though I have a question, why doesn't it show a vote on April's song? It still looks so loney on the poll up there.

I missed this stuff when it came out originally since my family was doing the whole poor white trash thing so I didn't even know it EXISTED at the time. I think that's sorta messed me over now since if I try to listen to the songs now I simply can't help but laugh. Meanwhile it makes perfect sense for me to listen to the songs from the first movie, I don't laugh at those! (I know that's different but it's similar in my mind.)

Brina don't be worried about liking April's song. When i was younger that was originally my favorite song because i was a little girl and that's the only song that was sung by a girl. I sang it over and over so much my grandparents got sick of hearing it! lol! In fact my tape dissapeared shortly afterwards... hmmm...
Anywho no worries! April's song is a good one too. Ballads are fun and the feeling she puts in it makes it fun to sing along with!

The "Pizza Power" song is my all time favorite! It's just such a great tune to listen too when you're on the road or partying somewhere.

Yes the songs are ready for download at Mikey's TMNT Web Page. This is a trust worthy site for any type of downloads. Only reason I'll support downloading these songs is because the album was only on Sale at Pizza Hut back in 1990/1991, and when and later found at Dollar Stores. It's a hard album to find for any new fans. Though I don't usually approve of downloading anything from the web.
