Hey everyone,

There's this TV series I've been watching all summer long with my folks, called "Dead Like Me".  It's an AWESOME series about this girl who dies and becomes a reaper.   It's really one of my favorite series on TV right now, sadly it's only had two seasons made and there's only four more episoides left.

Well for a long time, I didn't know any TMNT connections to this show (didn't really look for any).  Though last night while watching a tape of this weeks episoides my jaw dropped open as Matt Hill (Raphael's costume actor in TMNT 3 and voice for NT:TNM) appeared on the show!!!

It was great watching that!  I balled up laughing... as the main character reaped a Turtle.... than later in that same episoide she was in jail and some cheer leaders were in there.  When asked why they said the other team was picking on their mascot so they had to defend their mascot.  George (the lead character) than asked if that was a frog on their shirts and the cheer leaders corrected her, it's a Sea Turtle!   So not only was a Turtle in the episoide, though they also mentioned the word Turtle!!!!  That totally rocked!!!

Anyone else watch this series?

I've watched an episode or two, mainly for Mandy Patinkin. Its not rolled itself into my weekly tv schedule. Its kinda full as is. :p

Yeah there have been movies, I've only seen the first one myself, but I believe there are two movies total that spawned the series for Showtime.

Do they have a different name?  Cause when I do a search for Dead Like me, it only shows the series.

I've only seen one episode of Dead Like Me but it seems like a pretty cool show.

I loved watching the series when they first came out on TV. Just gotta be careful that you don't start to talk like the characters in the show, George has quite the potty mouth.

I was sad that they never continued the series but if there's movies about it i'd so want to see them!

I want to see this, too, MAINLY because I came up with a similiar story before knowing about this series. Happy/Smile (Anime Style) It sounds good, though.

I remember once seeing a preview for the show but I never got to see it. Last week though I caught an episode where the main character's sister made friends with a goth girl who called herself "Raven", which to me was sort of a tip off the hat to Teen Titans.

I made this topic into a poll, I so want the box set.  I see while at stores, but usually have limited funds and other things that I'm at the store to get.

I'd love to own it, just money doesn't seem to go the same way as purchasing those DVD's go. Mayne I'll get them eventually. I'll just have to make sure to not show them in front of ze baby. I don't need her to go around sounding like George, heh.
