Gack, I hate surgeries, too. I don't like hospitals, or going to the doctor, and I hate getting any kind of scan that involves being inside some machine where you can't move. Feel like I'm in a coffin. Brr. Hate being on medications, and being laid up, unable to do anything. Sure am tired of it when it happens. I can also relate to your frustration with trying to get something accomplished like school, when your state of health is getting in the way. It's danged depressing, at times. What seems overwhelming is looking at too much of what is ahead, and it seems to just pile up. The attitude that works best for me, it may seem cliche, but I've found it to be true, is to take these things one day at a time, or even in increments throughout the day. One thing accomplished, one step closer to the goal of being well. Anyway, for what it's worth, you have my sympathy!
