Well this question relys on the times.
Back in the day it was Michaelangelo or Raphael, though these days it's Leonardo. So it strongly depends on the media that is out. Leonardo has been ruling the 4 Kids series.

I can recall back when Leo had the least fans. Everyone I knew either had Don, Raph, or Mike as a favorite, and wanted to play them. Mention Leonardo was your favorite, such as I, and you were looked at as if you were out of your mind. Heck, I think Donny had more fans than him. Poor guy. It was all because of how he was portrayed in the OS; all of them really.
In the last few years since the 4Kids' series debut, however, his fanbase has grown by huge leaps and bounds. It makes me very happy for one to see that. He used to be very much the under-appreciated turtle.

I will agree with that. Before the new Toon, Leo was probably one of the least faves. It was always Mikey and Raph, sometimes Don. Leo was often described as boring or some such by many fans in general, not necessarily those on the lists. I think the movies was the best media for Don, he got a lot of good lines and some great fight scenes. I guess they felt a bo was okay, and they really let him go. He gets the most actual hits of any of the TMNT. But I agree the new Toon has done the best job with Leo as a character in terms of the tv or movies, so maybe that has to do with the popularity? Although for me, Leo has been my fave since the beginning of my enjoying TMNT fandom. |

Oye vey. I dunno who the most popular turtle is - though, it does seem to be Leo as of late. But I'm torn on the voting. I wanna vote Raph, 'cause he's my fave. But, I wanna vote Leo 'cause he was my fave back in the day & is starting to shove Raph back down to second place again. So, obviously, I'm torn. Maybe i'll just vote for Mikey or Donnie instead. Lol.

I spent most of the day yesterday helping to run a haunted house at the local boys and girls club. A large majority of the kids I know there watch the current Turtles series and there have been many, many discussions about who is the most popular turtle. According to them, it's Michaelangelo. Apparently he hasn't lost his touch over the years. Yes, we all have our favorites, but the truth is not many kids can appreciate Leo's dedication and honor...Don's intelligence and sensitivity...or Raph's...Raph's....*thinks a moment*...lol, Raph is hard to describe in a couple of words. There's much more to Raph and it's hard for kids to understand that. Another reason he's my favorite.  Mikey is fun, likes to joke, eats lots of junk food and so on. It's easy for kids to relate to him. It's not much, but that's my opinion. |

I'm surprised to see Mike hasn't got any votes... If this was a vote for who our favorite Turtles would be, I would of deff voted for him.  I'm surprised to see Don getting more votes than Mike in this though. |

so, donnie is popular in my own little world. yeah, i must say over the years it's changed as to who's popular, and then even now, the popular depends on the universe. everyone just loves mikey - i've never come across anyone who didn't. most of my church youth group are michelangelo fans. raph was like, way number one from the movie times. i remember my friends were all of a sudden raphael fans. leo's currently popular - but in my opinion, kids always liked leo. but by kids i mean kids - kids usually pick the leader, main-ish guy. or so i have noticed. donnie's quite popular in the fanfic world. heh heh. it's all good though, all around. i'm just happy they're here to be popular period! |

Actually, to be honest, I've found that it also depends on where you are as to who's the most popular. East Coast wise, almost all of my friends are Leo fans. A lot of my international friends are Raph fans, and a lot of the West Costers are Mikey fans. Don fans seem to the the ones who are all over the place. Maybe it's just the way my friendships have happened but that's what I've noticed with my circle of friends.

I think there's a lotta Raphael fans around here. I'm STILL in search of the one action figure - 'cause I never got Raph - whose my fave. Everytime I find him, I can't afford him. Lol. But, usually, he's the only one NOT there!!!! There'll be a gazillion oof the others - not normal ones - the muscled up ones & stuff - & like, NO Raph!!!!! It's good he's well liked, but bad 'cause I can't find the action figure when I've got money!!!!

Around my area, I don't find ANYTHING Leo usually...especially when certain people put curses on me to get nothing but Shredder and Don, won't mention any names...Right, Fae?

this really all depends on u as well with ur personality views..i never liked mike as much as the others cause he was never serious but i know thats his character..ralph was always ready to fight so i liked him.don was the nerd. and leo was leo...id say my fav is leo...always seemed to b the best one to use in all of the old nintendo games as well..lol
