Well this question relys on the times.
Back in the day it was Michaelangelo or Raphael, though these days it's Leonardo. So it strongly depends on the media that is out. Leonardo has been ruling the 4 Kids series.

I can recall back when Leo had the least fans. Everyone I knew either had Don, Raph, or Mike as a favorite, and wanted to play them. Mention Leonardo was your favorite, such as I, and you were looked at as if you were out of your mind. Heck, I think Donny had more fans than him. Poor guy. It was all because of how he was portrayed in the OS; all of them really.
In the last few years since the 4Kids' series debut, however, his fanbase has grown by huge leaps and bounds. It makes me very happy for one to see that. He used to be very much the under-appreciated turtle.

I will agree with that. Before the new Toon, Leo was probably one of the least faves. It was always Mikey and Raph, sometimes Don. Leo was often described as boring or some such by many fans in general, not necessarily those on the lists. I think the movies was the best media for Don, he got a lot of good lines and some great fight scenes. I guess they felt a bo was okay, and they really let him go. He gets the most actual hits of any of the TMNT. But I agree the new Toon has done the best job with Leo as a character in terms of the tv or movies, so maybe that has to do with the popularity? Although for me, Leo has been my fave since the beginning of my enjoying TMNT fandom. |

My dear Leo.....since 4Kids took the reins you have been drawn better, the scenes you are in, you display more panache.....truly, you have never looked better.......which reminds me......I'd better get back to working on your portrait.

Oye vey. I dunno who the most popular turtle is - though, it does seem to be Leo as of late. But I'm torn on the voting. I wanna vote Raph, 'cause he's my fave. But, I wanna vote Leo 'cause he was my fave back in the day & is starting to shove Raph back down to second place again. So, obviously, I'm torn. Maybe i'll just vote for Mikey or Donnie instead. Lol.

I spent most of the day yesterday helping to run a haunted house at the local boys and girls club. A large majority of the kids I know there watch the current Turtles series and there have been many, many discussions about who is the most popular turtle. According to them, it's Michaelangelo. Apparently he hasn't lost his touch over the years. Yes, we all have our favorites, but the truth is not many kids can appreciate Leo's dedication and honor...Don's intelligence and sensitivity...or Raph's...Raph's....*thinks a moment*...lol, Raph is hard to describe in a couple of words. There's much more to Raph and it's hard for kids to understand that. Another reason he's my favorite.  Mikey is fun, likes to joke, eats lots of junk food and so on. It's easy for kids to relate to him. It's not much, but that's my opinion. |

I'm surprised to see Mike hasn't got any votes... If this was a vote for who our favorite Turtles would be, I would of deff voted for him.  I'm surprised to see Don getting more votes than Mike in this though. |
