Okay so when I came up with the idea 2 years ago to make a Ninja Turtle music video with myself featured in the opening montage, I had a couple friends I knew from school who were very interested in helping me out. For some dumb reason though, I could never figure out the right time or date to schedule everyone and I spent month after month trying to plan this video shoot!

Before I realized it, I had wasted nearly 2 years and gone through atleast 2 different sets of friends for the cast when I finally decided "To hell with it!" and simply have my cousin Joey as my co-star, which actually made better sense seeing as how we used to spend a lot of time together playing TMNT! Of course with his busy schedule and overbearing family woes, it has been rather difficult to find the time to work on the project and the weather also plays a major factor in this.

Lo and behold this past weekend we decided we'd finally get around to shooting. Saturday proved to be a beautiful day, but Joey was too busy with farm work and he pretty much busted his rump working that entire day! Sunday morning I awake to a bleak grey sky outside but I figure as long as we still have a hint of daylight it'd be okay. Of course poor Joey was still beat from yesterday and he never called me back so yet another day was wasted.

On top of all this, I keep getting a frickin lecture from my mom telling me that it's possible Joey doesn't even want to do the project, when I explain to her that Joey has agreed to help me out and we've waited patiently to get back to one another with details!

The main reason he's involved is that he's lived so close to us all these years, hence how we know one another so well! Had I known every other person I tried to involve would inevitably back down, I would have enlisted Joey right off the bat and the project would've been finished a long time ago!!! At this point I'm just desperate to get the darn thing over with so I can finish the project and move on with my life!

I think the key is....and this is just my thought. I'm no wordly expert, just bungling along, too....
If it's really important to you--which it is--one way or another, at some time sooner or later, you will finish your dream, your goal.
And what parents or other friends might say, won't deter you, you'll find a way because this is something you have to do. You may have to keep practicing that famous Splinterism called patience a little longer, but if you keep the right mental attitude in your head, it will help attract the right energies and someone will appear to help you--maybe your friend Joey.

Good luck!! Best wishes!!

Yea, I know what you mean. I lost my patience too easily that other weekend and I'm trying to regain my composure at this time before we jump into our next attempt to film this project.
