Feedback:
I'll like to give some feedback here. I have bought stuff from mrpliggins in the past and am doing so again right now (buying some of that stuff marked sold

). And I want to give him two thumbs up, everything I've gotten from him in the past have always been in great shape and fairly priced.
I see he's selling a set of
-TMNT Buttons- these are very cheaply made but rare as they were only sold
through the early mirage comics. This is a set of four. You
can find an ad for these in Mirage's Donatello #1 to see what
I'm talking about. These were
hand-colored by Eastman and Laird back in the day. set of four $50
I'll like to give a little more info on these, this is a GREAT collectors item for any fan! I bought a set from him a few years back, and love it. These buttons are a very rear and hard to find set, as they are limited. Here is some info taking from Turtles Treasury about these buttons
In late 1984, Eastman and Laird met entrepreneur and fan Jeff Rudolph from Hartford, Connecticut. They struck a deal with him to issue a limited edition - of a thousand sets each - of four TMNT buttons. "They were pretty straightforward buttons, in black and white," remember Laird. "I don't know if he ever sold them all - I know it took a long time for him to sell just half of them."
Eastman nods his head in agreement. "I don't think at the time they went over that famously. We put a couple of ads in the early issues saying that we were selling them, and it was months and months and months before we sold the last couple of sets. The guy had a button-making system at home, where he just got the artwork photocopied and then he hand-colored them with markers, and then numbered them himself." Eastman girns at how primitive it now sounds. "One of those early deals... that was a little ahead of its time."
So as a seller I give him A++
And that is the item he has that I highly recommend (and if I didn't already have set, would be buying for myself

)
