Hey everyone, For the fun of it I thought I'd create a poll about the Channel 6 Crew, not all the random guys that'd show up here or there, though the main crew that stayed with through out the full series. At one point you even had toys of them. I'm not going to put April in there, because well she was too strong of a lead character I want to go with the three crew members here who stayed with Channel Six and didn't get fired Say who your favorite character was, and say why. You could also express how you felt about the others Channel 6 Characters too. Vernon was my favorite, he reminded me of Peter from Ghostbusters, so when I played toys (before the "Toon Turtle" toys came out) I used Peter from Ghostbusters as Vernon. I even just made my first music video from the original series basing it on Vernon.

I know Burn wasn't exactly a main character who we saw every episode but I will admit, I wanted to slap Vernon and Irma. That's my reasoning for liking Burne.

Vernon, definitely. He was spineless and yellow-belly but he definitely was not as annoying as Irma and Burne (remember Burne's turtle-hating girlfriend? yeah.. I definitely do ). Also, Vernon's voice was really cool (when Pat Fraley was his voice) and he was actually pretty funny at times. And you gotta have a tad bit of respect for a guy who wears pink

I always liked Irma. Not 100% sure why, I just always have. Sometimes she's a tad annoying, but usually I just kind of laugh at her crazy crisises & stuff. I mean, okay I once called not knowing song lyrics to a BSB song a crisis, but still! To me it WAS! Just like to Irma, breaking a nail or being stood up by a guy is WAY important & a major crisis. I loved when April mentioned, "I'd interview Big Foot if I had too." & Irma goes, "If you see him, ask him if he's married!" Or something along the lines of that - I laughed so much I ended up coughing. Yes, I'm amused rather easily. Lol.

Believe it or not, Irma was my favorite out of those three as well. I had a bit of sympathy for the girl when she always tried to snag a man (or turtle!) and she never was able to get one. I wanted to see at least one episode of her getting dolled up and more beautiful than April in hopes it would increase her chances of finding Mr. Right. Other than her looks, she came up with some witty come-back lines, like what LenniluvsBrian mentioned , and she seemed to be a good friend to April when neither of them were at Channel 6. When I saw her in every episode, I wanted her to have good luck, wanted her to succeed in life, I wanted her to dress better even! Unfortunately, the writers made her just a minor character, and that's how she remained throughout the series. Quite sad, really.

I wanted her to dress better even! I would of been happier if someone excepted her for who she is, so she doesn't have to go out of her way and change who she is to get attention. And she did get guys, otherwise she would have gone on about them to April. Like in Sky Turtles, there was the picture of the guy on her desk, that she got mad at when April started to float too.

I remember the episode "April Foolish" when Irma dolled up April to get a good story at the party held in the Malicurian Embassy. I thought I'd see Irma get dressed up as well! I don't know, it must be that same, everyday clothing I didn't like too much on all of them!
