I thought I'd go and post these clever images I put up on my website awhile back. Each picture has a turtle crossing over with a different super hero.

As you can easily tell, this is meant as a live action shot where I utilised a scan of Raphael's face from the second TMNT movie and placed him over Spider-Man's head in the front cover of a magazine article

This is an amusing idea I had about 2 years ago. It's basically a scan of Bart Allen, aka Kid Flash from DC Comics' Teen Titans with a shot of Michaelangelo's face from the Archie series which I placed overtop Bart's head. You can still see some of his hair on Mike's forehead, which I thought added some humorous realism to the illusion.

This image was meant as an homage to my foul-mouthed friend Jay who always thought The Tick was 10 times better than the TMNT. He even once went as far to making some rather disgusting comments about wanting to see Tick mutilate Raphael, but it was all in good fun. Wanting to quell my friend of his pent up hostility towards TMNT, I drew him this adorable image of Leonardo buddying around with The Tick!

This started out originally as a picture of Donatello and I was wondering what to do with it when I decided to read some Teen Titans and came across Robin in this amazing pose. I literally had to mirror the picture because in the panel I was tracing, Robon was kicking in the opposite direction. For the face, I dug up my Robin action figure from the Batman Forever toyline. It looked enough like Chris O'Donnel but not an exact likeness.

Cool Images Jephael!

Michaelangelo My favorite has to be THE TICK with Leonardo!   Heh, what did your friend think of this drawing?   Man, I'd have so much fun with your friend, the creator of the Tick, Ben is someone I met before.   I'm a Tick fan as well, even have the action figures from the series and the talking Tick Toy.  How can I resist, he is voiced by non other than Townsend Coleman, the original voice of Michaelangelo.   So I couldn't help but become a Tick fan.

I think my favorite memory that has to do with the Tick was back at the Words and Pictures Museum in 1997, Ben was one of the guests at the party and was sitting right next to Kevin Eastman.   Kevin had me standing next to him most of that time, so he could autograph my scripts which he told me he wanted to do (originally I only wanted two signed he told me I had to bring the others to get autographed as well).   So Kevin and Ben were talking to each other and many times I was pulled into what ever was being talked about as the people in line were going through getting stuff signed... Kevin would sign my stuff when ever he had down time.    One of the topics that came up was from Ben...

Ben:  We're working on doing a movie about The Tick!
Kevin: Cool!
Me:  If you do a movie, you're going to have to keep the same voices from the Cartoon.
Ben:  Why?
Me:  Because the voice of the Tick is also the voice of Michaelangelo.

Kevin and Ben looked at each other in excitement and said...

Both:  Our characters have something in comman!!!!

Hehehehe so I don't think the Tick will ever hurt the Turtles, esp since Season 2 the voice of his little buddy Aurther was replaced from Micky Dolzens (of the Monkees) to Rob Paulsen.   So it was a series with Mikey and Raph working together.  Very Happy

I'd rather not say what my friend's reaction was. The dude was basically a jackass when it came to respecting my interests, so I just figure it was his loss that he failed to see the irony in what he was saying.
