TMNT PARTY! : "Year of the Turtle"!

Hey everyone,  

There's an event in the works and I'll like to let you all know about it right now.  A TMNT party!  That's right, time to do a get together and enjoy some games, pizza, and maybe even some cake!   True this isn't a convention, though for Peter Laird's Bday I figured (since someone is asking me to do an event and if it goes through, this would be the best event) to throw a gathering for us fans to get together and have some fun!

This event will have more updates as I find out, though I want to let people know about it now so that if anyone wants to get together for a fun TMNT event of just hanging out and enjoying a weekend they can start planning

Though I'm deff going to have to hold this party if things go through with this other group.   And if it does, I'll be able to explain more of why we're really doing this.     I think more people will be interested when it's brought up.

Awww, I really would like to visit such a party or going to a con, because I don't know such events.
Would be great to talk to other tmnt fans.

Ok, this party may be moved up a week to the 19th.

Though it sounds like we are doing this party for real.   Just to let people who do come know, there may be a camera crew here for the party.  A show is doing a story on TMNT fans.  So if you want to be a part of this and can make it to my area please let me know.

I've come up with a Theme for this party

Year of the Turtle

This party is for the fans to look forward to all the new and awesome stuff, namely the movie.  


I'll have more info as it comes.  Though right now I'm starting the clean up to get ready.   We're opening more of the upstairs for this party than been open before for any of the other things at my house.  We'll have food, games and prizes.   And for those who end up staying around, we'll have videos to watch with a lot of choices:

Movies
Tour stuff (Both Tours and both Tunes videos)
Next Mutation
4Kids
AND....
Interviews, behind the scene footage, and even video tours of the Words & Pictures Museum (which has been closed since 1999).  

At this party we'll be there for the new and old TMNT.  

Let's show the world that this is the "Year of the Turtle"

I will make up Year of the Turtle banners and signs that will hang in the rooms where the party is.

Ok... date change again...   sounds like we're now looking at the weekend of February 2nd to the 4th.   The place the show was looking to record isn't as close to me as they first thought.   So they can't do the weekend I mentioned this last time, and they got something they're doing on the 27th, so this puts us into February.  

This gives a little bit more time for people to decide if they can make it or not.

I'm asking any fan that thinks it might be possible to make it, to think about this.  It could be a good thing for TMNT fandom if done right  And I deff want to show there are a lot of great people out here that like TMNT.

Wow getting ready for this party is killing me, I'm up all night, sleep a few hours in the morning and usually up by noon or 1pm at the latest.  Though things are going ok, I'm hoping to have this place ready for this party.  Still hoping to get some more people from TMNT-L to jump in on the party.  And may be inviting a TMNT Guest to my party, more info on that by Friday.

Project report for the party.

As I mentioned before I've been doing a lot of work getting ready for the party.  One of the things is the loft, I'm about to show the pictures of it which were taken today.  

When I started let me take note that this loft has been storage for about 3 years, with things just thrown on it.  Most everything was NOT in boxes, and was just scattered everywhere.  You couldn't walk across the loft without having issues of moving things out of your way and things under your feet.  Both corners were packed to the ceiling.  It was a huge mess!  

I've been working on this for about two weeks straight.

The new project that is in order for the loft as soon as I clear it off is...  we're turning it into a sewer display for the party.  We're going to have brick walls, and sewer pipes going through it.

People have been asking to see what I've been up to, and here's only a taste of it.  I've also been working big time on my room, Hall, and closet.   A lot of work still to go.
