Man, today was rough... it started off where I thought we're on schedule and doing fine. Though news came in that kind of kicked our shells in gear. The TV show that I'm throwing this party for, is coming in Thursday evening and would like to do a afternoon outing with me, wanting to get some filming out of the house. EEP that kind of kicked us to have to pick up the pace. I got up at 9am this morning working on this, didn't get the email till 2:51pm. Gotta love the excepted. So we kicked everything into high gear and pushed ourselves to finish the walls and get the carpet ready to lay down tomorrow morning.

The Hardest part of the day, was hanging the TMNT Movie banner that we have. It was being hung over the drop off of the loft, but far enough to where we can't reach it from the loft. Miki was the one to take the ladder up and clap it to the 2 by 4s on the ceiling. My fear of heights was strong, so this was not something I really wanted to see done. In fact, this was something that made me whimper a lot and telling my sister to get off that ladder I don't trust it. Though with my dad's help, of moving the huge ladder around and putting some wood on it so that it would stay up against these walls... my sister was able to go up and put this banner where we wanted it. Do I have pictures of her doing so? NO! I was so scared I was sqeezeing a toy and whimpering... couldn't take a picture of this, was too worried about her being on that huge ladder!!

After dinner, Miki and Fuzzyduc went home to let their dogs out. Eclipse and I went up to get things ready for them to be able to move on doing something else. So one of the things I did was put up the last wall that needed to go up. This was a Huge task for me, and hurt like crazy... but I can look at this wall and say "I put that up!" Here is a picture of it, with Miki (not much of her) as she's working on starting the brick work.

Looking in the other direction. The short brick wall above the attic door way is another one that I cut out... though Miki was the one to put it up. That was the first one I did today really, but it was one of the last things painted.

Tomorrow we have to get the carpet in, build a desk, get sewer pipes running through the loft, and start to put up the TMNT stuff. Which would help clear out my room, so I can get my room the rest of the way clean. This is another huge project and we just lost a few days of working on this.
This project is a total surprise to the show, we're not bringing it up. In fact it's not even being done so much for the show as it is for the party. If this was going to be like another VH1 thing, where I didn't have an event going on, I would of done like I did for VH1 which was just block off the loft and work on putting my stuff up in my room and the hall. Though since there's people coming over for a party, I want room for everyone to breath, which is what got us doing this loft.
