Has anyone seen these yet? Earlier today, Earl and I went out to the crappy little mall we have out here, waiting for the bookstore to restock its magazines in search of the latest issue of a magazine we frequently read, and we went nosing around the mall, see if there was anything good in there. Didn't really think there was, the rent's so high there, nobody stays in that mall for long, but we do have a Hallmark store. Figured we'd just browse down there, see what they had for holiday ornaments 'cause even our Kmart's getting early on the Christmas stuff. They're putting up the blasted trees! Not even Halloween yet! Last year, I think it wasn't 'till after FallCon that we saw that.  Just kinda browed, looking for Star Wars ornaments, and spotted something completely unexpected. They had a Leonardo ornament there! Seriously! One of the Hallmark keepsake ornaments! On the display stand next to Vader of all things, lol, but there was a Leo! Anyone else see these or know about these or am I the first to spot it? |

I heard about it back in January, even saw pictures. Glad to know it's out, I'm going to have to go and pick one up! Hope they do the other Turtles sometime!!!  |

Turtley ordaments! I still have some from when the turtles first came out including two of the small stockings, i still put them on my tree *G*
I have to start keeping an eye out for them! If anyone wants some if i find them let me know and i'll ship them out to people.. course i need to paid back.

They're indeed out, saw Leo yesterday. I didn't check to see how much he was, though I should have. Wasn't really looking to shop or buy anything, just wanted to see if they had any ornaments out and what they had, considering that it's getting within three months of the new year and places are going Christmas-crazy, just happened to spot him. So he's out.  Will try to pick one up sometime, just depends on how much he costs. And I did look for other Turtles, it's just Leo out so far, so I'm hoping they'll put the others out soon, too. *wants a Donnie*  |

It's only Leonardo this year. I think if he sells well during the season, they'll make the one or two of the others next year.
*dances* I got him yesterday, and he's gorgeous. The detailing on him is so beautiful, even if his scabbards are blue. He costs $12.95 USD, but he's worth every penny.

I'm definately looking for him this weekend even if my boyfriend mocks me for it! And he will go on my desk with my other random TMNT stuff, keeping my computer room safe from random ninjas and cat hair tumbleweeds.

I got my Leonardo ornament today!!! I bought 3!!! I got one for my mom, one for our tree and one to be put away with my collection. The one for our tree is sitting in front of my computer right now. The one for my mom is going to be a Christmas gift for her under the tree.  They really are cool ornaments!!!!!!!! |

I am definately hoping these sell well enough that they'll release more, I love it! I found the really strange urge to buy two... despite the fact that I don't NEED two. o_O I didn't, but I may go buy another one later. The first thing my boyfriend said when I got it was "You know that's not going on the tree, right?"  I assured him that it was going on my DESK, screw only seeing it once a year! |

When I found out about them, I had to shop all over the freaking valley. Only one Hallmark wasn't sold out of them that I was aware of. So they're definitely selling well in my area. The ornament is way nice, too. I do hope they plan on making others in the future. *pets her Leo ornament*

I saw the Leo ornament! and -SOMEWHERE- I'm not sure where, I'll check into it for everyone. I saw a Donatello one. It was the COOLEST ever! I did a double take on it because I only knew about the Leo. ^__^ I promise I'll give you the 411 when I find it. There are only a few places it could be around here.  |

Shrines are good. Shrines are healthy. Even if they make you go broke. My Raph Shrine...it's ...getting...too much....*drowning in too many raph things!*
My Leo shrine keeps expanding and then I have to find a new place for it in my apartment... *laughs* Yes I spend vastly too much money on anything with Leo on it.... *sweatdrop* Much to the confusion of my family and friends... but its so pretty to look at! |

My boyfriend would crap kittens if I decided to make a Leo shrine.  The best I can do is the collection on the top of my desk, which is where my Leo ornament is. Slowly I'm branching out but you gotta do it slowly or they'll notice. *shifty eyes* |

*L* I have that with my second favorite. At first I didn't even have one, but then it was Raph and stayed that way. I LOVE Raph... just not as much as Leo.
Then SOMEBODY *cough*LeonrdoMystic*cough* had to throw Donny at me in an RP and I've spent so much time RPing him that I like him a whole lot now. WAH!!!!
BUt no, Loe's my favorite. Other than the toddler turtles the only TMNT stuff I have that isn't Leo is my Raph bobble head pen and my April action figure, which I only have b/c I cosplayed her.

Yeah same here! LOL! Only...I've never had anyone around to play a turtle for me...
except when I was 7... and..back then I was April...and it was kinda....wierd.
LMAO! Anywaayyss...

I have always been fairy Leo obessed.... I am rather fond of Usagi and Gen-chan, but honestly none of the other Turtles have really held that much of an interest to me... I mean I respect and like them as characters, but I have often said I could watch a show with just Leo all the time and honestly I would feel nothing lacking for myself.... But I am goofy like that!  I still think Leo and Usagi should get there own cartoon!!!  |

Now I'm all for Usagi getting his own cartoon! I LOVE Usagi, if I had a second favorite when I was a kid he would be it despite being in like, two episodes. I would very much like to see him in future episodes of the series.
My "first" favorite has never changed though, it's always been Leo. I never understood why until the past year or so but I also never really WONDERED why until then. *shrug* I can't complain, they do fairly well on keeping the world full of good Leo merchandise. *points to the ornament*
And yes... I examined his tush.

Not to hack jack the topic but out of general interest I talked to Stan Sakai about Usagi getting his own series and as of right now he doesn't seem interested in the idea...
He said he enjoys Usagi being on Turtles and he REALLY seems to like when Usagi ends up fighting with one the Turtles and winning...
Stan was an amazing man, who really made me laugh!!
So no Usagi cartoon which sorely disapointed me as a diehard fan of the graphic novels there are OODDLES of amazing characters I would love to see brought to life through animation.

Well that sucks but I guess I'm not surprised. Perhaps it's for the best. Frankly I'm a little amazed TMNT took off and has done so well. I thought for sure they'd lost it after Next Mutation.
