While at School did you ever use TMNT in a project?  Or did something TMNT related ever happen there?   If so please feel free to share those memories here.  I'll like to start with a paper I wrote in 6th Grade.

Most Memorable Moment

My most memorable moment was the day before my Birthday.

I was waiting for my mom to come and we had free gym  I made a home run and I made a basket

Than we came back to class.  A little bet later my mom came.  I wanted to help my mom with cup cakes but Mr. Aspinwall said No and sent some other but it seam like my mom didn't need help.  She had a Turtle & pig to help her.

Michaelangelo was the Turtle.  He was really a she in the costume.  Michaelangelo was my sister, Miki.

The pg was my borther. But the Michaelangelo costume was mine so I was mad to see Miki in my costume.

But me & (an x-friend) and the 2 costume when around to past out cup cake and got pichers token.

I also got a poster & a flew cards from the class.  The poster went on my wall right when I got home.

That was mine Most Memorable Moment.

MAN!   I wanted to correct all of my spelling errors!!!!  It was so hard to type pictures up as pichers ... man is that ever wrong!    But I felt with that, it's a classic in my memories and best not to fix it since that's how it was when I wrote it all those years ago.

Anyone else want to share?

I may have some more to share soon.  Seeing as how I'm cleaning boxes of old school work!  hehehehe

I remember in school [North Bay] I used to play TMNT with the boys & we'd act it out. And in Kindergarten, I helped them make a 'Turtle Van' outta wooden blocks & I made a 'Turtle Chair'. I also remember bringing my Swimming Donatello to school & putting him in the water table so he could swim [like he was supposed too!] & he broke!!!!!!! Defective toys call to me, I swear!!!! [Sometimes, I buy a stuffed animal that's not perfect 'cause it's cute & my Nick Carter action figure is defective, as his head won't turn like it's supposed too-lol]

When I was thirteen in 1993, I was probably enthralled with Batman: The Animated Series and Dragon Ball Z. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 had come out, and I remember a friend of mine telling me that he very much enjoyed it.

Coincidentally, I was so much into Batman: The Animated Series that I made jello one night, left the pot boiling to watch an episode, and caused a fire and melted the pot. It was a good pot too.

By the way, was that Michaelangelo costume the same one that you wore at comic conventions?

The Michaelangelo costume I talk about in this paper isn't worn anymore.  It was re made in 1993 (a new body, but the head was destroied and used as the base for the head for the 1993 costume) and that is the one I wear to this day.  It has been to Motor City Comic Con a lot of times, along with some other conventions like Toronto Con, Anime Next, Mid-Ohio Con, and Marcon.

I'm not sure if it's appropriate to ask, but how did the original Michelangelo head get destroyed? By the way, I found myself wondering this the other day and thought you might know--what happened to the movie heads from the original movie?

Well the reason the first costume head was destroyed was because my dad was in a hurry to make the second one and decided to use the old head and cut the face off of it, and built a new face on it (which looks a lot better).  Though still I was very hurt and upset when I heard that he did that.   I still have the original body.

The first movie heads (From what I've heard), along with the second movie heads were ordered to be destroyed when Henson's Creature shop did not get the rights for the 3rd movie.  So that their tech can not be used to help the 3rd movie heads get built.   This is what I heard, I have no proof behind this and I'm hoping some day to see a 1st or 2nd movie head for sale.  Though I do trust the person who told me, so I doubt I'll see that day.  I just hope for it all the time.

Acting out Ninja Turtles was definitely a favorite pastime in kindergarten.

I recall having those Ninja Turtles pizza chips things in my lunch from time to time. I don't think I liked them very much. I also remember the Ninja Turtles fruit snacks being a regular part of school lunches for a while too.
