For the Month of October Villain of the Month is one that only got to be used in one media... Tatsu.   Tatsu is the silent loyal follower of Shredder for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 and 2.  He only speaks when there's something to say and he is a threat to our four Turtles as he leads the Foot against them when Shredder is too busy to handle them himself.

Tatsu lead the Foot into the Second Time Around Shop, he held the fort against Casey Jones as good as he could when Shredder went out to face the Turtles.   Later he's seen trying to lead the Foot till Shredder's return.   Though don't let me do all the talking for more information about him check out Donatello's Tatsu Web Page

What do you think of Tatsu?   Do you like him as Shredder's right hand man?   Do you think he should have been used in other medias?   How do you think he got away before the Police got to the East Warehouse on Lairdman Island?   This month we get to talk about Tatsu.

HT: I had it once, a loooong time ago before a computer crash.  Lost it, and it couldn't be found again.  It was a funky picture of Don and Tatsu looking all chummy though.

How do you think he got away before the Police got to the East Warehouse on Lairdman Island?

If you don't know this, Mikey... you do need to have Splinter review the fundamentals of "the art of invisibility" with you again.     Tatsu is clearly an upper level ninja, he used his skills to slip out undetected.  

HT:  I think Tatsu suited well just for the movie universe.  The other verses had their own second hand henchmen that worked just as well.  But yet, the Mirage Shredder was tough enough to not really need anyone all the time.

Lol I know too many jokes with Tatsu... so I find him funny, as a bad guy though, he's pretty bad-shell.

Ahhh... Tatsu... I still laugh when I think of Casey's reply to the punk kid:

"You call this.. and that down there (pointing to Tatsu's unconscious body)... family?!?"

Priceless...

Anyhow, I like Tatsu but the poor guy bet on the wrong horse. He must have been honour bound or something to The Shredder. Cuz first he gets a golf club to the head and then a wishbone crunch... that sucks. In fact, the only time we really get to see his skills is when he teaches the Foot newbie not to "lower your eyes to an enemy".

Poor poor Tatsu.

What do you think of Tatsu? I really liked him~ "NEVAH LOWAH YOUR EYEZ TO AN ENEMYYYY!" Or "NINJA VANISH!" Bit of a comic relief, and I would've liked to have seen him as a more serious character, but oh well. Well, he was fairly serious in the first movie, wasn't he? Oh well. I LIKE HIM.

Do you like him as Shredder's right hand man? Pssssf. He could've overtaken the Shredhead if he wanted to !! He was always getting shoved around and his feelings hurt ;-; Shame on Canface!  

Do you think he should have been used in other medias? Yeah, the new cartoon series. That would've been interesting... but now, I liked the Shredder's elite guard... NICE HAT!

How do you think he got away before the Police got to the East Warehouse on Lairdman Island? A ninja never reveals his secrets!!!!!!

Hehehe I just found it interesting about the fact that Tatsu got away... seeing as the last time we saw him he was knocked out from a golf club....    golf of all things... at least Casey found a reason to respect that sport.  *G*

What do you think of Tatsu? Dude REALLY needed some exlax. Ouch, man...or, as Casey said, Primatene. He wasn't bad.

Do you like him as Shredder's right hand man? He was a pretty good yes-man...though, I kinda think he had designs on wanting control of the Foot, himself. Was all power between the two of them...interesting dynamics.

Do you think he should have been used in other medias? It may have been interesting, actually...his character did leave some room for growth.

You seem to have neglected his appearance in "Secret of the Ooze". Technically the last time we ever saw Tatsu was when the turtles basically knocked the wind out of him via their shells in that nighclub fight. I certainly doubt he ever got away that time!

I have not forgot this time at all, just that in TMNT 2, we don't see Tatsu coming back in the picture without any answers as to how he got away after being knocked out.  We don't know if he got caught or not.  So there was no forgetting there, just waiting to see if it's ever brought up what happened to him after TMNT 2.
