I didn't like it when Cartoon Network was showing it, but I recently saw one of the movies, and that did it for me!
It was one where they had to go to an island that appears for a short time to liberate these lost souls from four evil demons, and Inuyasha cleaned house! Now I'm hooked! I'm willing to give the regular series another chence now!

i got hooked when i saw my sister watch it on the web, and now i'm obsested with it just as much as i am on tmnt!! Very Happy/Big Grin

Don't get me wrong, I don't HATE InuYasha but I don't like it either...thank Cartoon Network for that.  I'm just sick of seeing the same episodes over and over again and whenever I turn it on, I see the same episode...I think I'd like it much better if Cartoon Network didn't constantly do that.  But I will say Miroku is my favorite character on that show for only ONE reason...Kirby Morrow is the voice actor!  *swoons* Sorry, I'm a Kirby Morrow fan girl.

I like Inu-Yasha as well...but I have never seen the series.  I've only read the books and seen the 4th movie.

I'll have to check out the manga myself. I'm sure it's even better because the series rocks!
I've been keeping up with the series on Adult Swim, and it's getting intense-good intense!
The crew is tracking down the final jewel shard, and the battles are getting even better!
I think my favorite character is Seshomaru because he is so calm, even in battle!  Twisted Evil

Yeah, the manga is pretty cool.  I think my favorite character would have to be Inu-Yasha and Miroku coming in second.

Ah, InuYasha...it was my biggest fandom before Venture Bros came into my life. Unfortuantely, as many have mentioned here, Cartoon Network has caused me to slowly dislike it. I mean, I still think it's an ok series, but with seeing the same episodes over and over again....and also all the fangirling it often gets when I'm at cons and stuff....it kinda becomes annoying. The series in general is pretty good, but the repeating same episodes and the annoying fangirling that seem to be EVERYWHERE....kinda caused me to start to dislike it abit.

Yeah, Crittles has a good point there. It's kind of like when CN played the same episodes of DBZ over and over and over and over...you know; and I started hating it!  Twisted Evil
It may take a while for me to feel that way about Inuyasha and the gang since I'm still seeing the episodes for the first time. I just love screaming WINDSCAR!!!!!!!!!! (my daughter hates when I do that!)  Embarassed

LOL Yeah! That's a good one, but she'll backlash me upside the head if I did that!  LOL
IRON WEAVER SOUL STEALER!!!! I love that one too(as much as my daughter hates it!)  Happy/Smile
The search for Nuraku continues...on Cartoon Network. They did a nice flashback episode last
night. Ouch! Kikyo really pinned Inuyasha to a tree, didn't she?  Shocked
