How many of you are going to point out all of FF's faults to Peter if he shows up this year to the NYCC, and how many are going to praise it ? Wink..

I personally am not going to say anything about Fast Forward and instead praise the living shell out of the movie.

I like to focus on the good and am hopefully if they see how much people prefer the non-Fast Forward version of the Turtles maybe something will be done about it.

Honestly, I think the Mirage guys already know how people feel about Fast Forward...but I don't think there's an awful lot they can do about it anyway.

I'm sure Peter Laird will be happy to hear your feelings on the matter, as it probably annoys him that they took the animated series in such a silly direction.

According to the info that came out at the beginning of the season, Peter chose the FF direction. It was the best choice that had been offered by 4Kids/whoever when they wanted to change things in the show.

Frightening.

Hate to think what ideas were rejected...

Yeah, I'm with Raph on that one.  If that's true, then I honestly don't want to see what was rejected.  Times, I don't think Laird has as much say as you want to believe he does.  I mean, I'm sure he has say in what characters get introduced, killed off, etc.  Yeah, he chooses the direction but I don't think that he'd have too much of a say about what happens and the mood of each story line.  He probably had a different vision for Fast Forward and it turned into this.  Heck, I think we all did but I doubt there's almost no say in each individual episode.  It may be a case of here's the story line, how do you like it.  It may sound good but then they turn around and turn it silly which annoys us, the fans.

Times, if I remember correctly from 4-5 years ago when I met up with him and someone asked him about NT:TNM, he said they loved the idea until the series was actually done and now they don't discuss that series.  Maybe what's going on is a similar situation.
