Moscone Center South, 747 Howard Street, San Francisco
Fri Mar 2, 12-7 pm
Sat Mar 3, 10 am-7 pm

Kevin Munroe is supposed to be in a panel discussion on one of these days, but not sure what day and the times, yet. Likely there will be TMNT movie promotional stuff going on then, as well.
If anyone has more info on this panel discussion, you can post it here. Happy/Smile

Wish I could go, but just did two conventions.

What troubles me is that the reason there was no movie panel at NYC Comic Con was because WB wouldn't let them show any footage during the panel.  They were saving it for this convention instead.  Sad/Down   So the West Coast gets both time Kevin does a panel with footage, but the time he's on the east coast we don't get any of that sort of stuff.   Not even a panel Sad/Down

That is very sad!!!
Wonder Con is run by the same group that runs San Diego Comic Con.
That group has spent over a decade working with the Hollywood types to slowly set up a happy relationship and atmosphere where they (the Hollywood types in general) feel comfortable bringing and airing stuff. Part of this is the extreme reinforcement of security about no filming during special screening clips and how they police it. Getting the fans to respect and cooperate, too, or they get tossed out of the Con itself, and so on.
Which is why for example, none of us that were there last July at SDC had the five minutes of special footage recorded in any way except our memory. Much as I wished for ALL TMNT fans to have seen that, I will honor the no filming things because if fans start to violate that, the Hollywood types will quit bringing stuff for us to see.
I can't say this is the reason some other conventions don't get special footage to air, I'm not enough of an expert.
It's sad...I had expected all of you at NY would get to see something.

For us this weekend? We have to share the panel time with another movie, the Reaping. Doesn't look like something I'm interested in, but I've had to sit through stuff like that before. If I had any hand sewing work to do on my costumes, I'd take that with me for that part. heheheh
I just hope they don't hog too much of the time touting that movie.
We're simple to please, just give us our TMNT!!!
And I hope that Kevin M. is doing a signing I can get to. I'm so sad almost all of us at San D Con last year missed his signing. But it'd be cooler to meet him now, anyway.

But I wouldn't feel too sad about stuff in general.
We never get Peter Laird out here in the west, or hardly ever any Mirage dudes.
We only get rare chances at the VAs. For example, I've met none of them except for Rob Paulsen and that was many years ago.
And anyone that has to travel across the country for a con, it's a hardship to do.
Overall, it's trade offs I guess.
