This confuses me, I usually do a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SO AND SO" topic, you know like "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MINDY" On a person's birthday, we got the calandar to show when Bdays are coming up... so I knew Mindy's bday was coming before she mentioned it on here... so I'm confused by this topic.

Yeah, maybe your birthday annoucements thread will work for now, but as the community grows, a birthday sticky will help out a lot  But I feel so loved! *tear*! It doesn't matter to me either way  !! |

You can do away with this thread then. My brain was dead as usual.  But then, I wonder... shouldn't we be announcing Birthdays down here instead of up there in the Turtle Discussion section anyway? All the other boards I've been on, they have birthday annoucements in the General Discussion or Party area. Since this WHOLE board is for the TMNT-L (and not just one section like it was on Neil's board), you could do that now. Not to be picky... but I do remember hearing how some people on the old TMNT-L listserv would complain that the only activity the list was getting for the longest was Birthday announcements, and not TMNT talk. Many people consider member Birthdays to be a general topic (especially when this board may get busier!). *shrugs* |

This topic has been kind of quiet, I was wondering a few things and figured this would be the best area to ask and wanted everyone's opinion on it. One: Should Birthday topics be locked after being a month old? Two: Should we use this topic to wish the Guest that are not on TMNT-L Bdays, since they're on the calandar it would be nice to have an area where people can post Bday wishes to them? Please reply and let me know what you think of that. |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTT MCNEIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
