Anyone interested in attending Otakon 2007? www.otakon.comLocation: Baltimore, Maryland (woot!  ) Event date: July 20th-22nd, 2007 TMNT Guest(s): MIKE SINTERNIKLAAS  (That's all the guests they've announced TMNT wise so far anyway) TMNT-L members attending: Crittle! *R* Oh happy day lol Anyone else interested? Pencil me in. I can commute to this if I have to--Metrobus can get me to BWI airport, and I can Light Rail from there up to the Convention Center. It's no small commute, but it's doable. Or, Option B: catch the MARC (Friday) or Amtrak to Penn Station, and take the Light Rail down. Have to arrange the time from work, and that has to wait until June.
Or, Option C: someone in the DC area can volunteer to give me a lift. Gas money, etc.

There's no rush, Raka. My mom's gotta do some touch ups on my Cassidy costume. I'm hoping that I can find the same people there that I saw last year. Specially the girl who was dressed as a Pikachu. hehehe. I'm definetly taking my tmnt teeshirt, kite glider toy and my 2 tmnt lunch boxes so Mike can sign them. My mom and I are gonna be staying at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel or the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor on Friday & Sat. Can't remember which one. We check in at Friday stay over night on Friday, go to Otakon on Saturday then drive home on Saturday evening.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to bow out of this one. I'm moving in early August, and there's no one to help me pack, so next weekend will be a working weekend.
I'd say "maybe next year" to Otakon, but even that's on the table at this point. Haven't heard anything about a movie sequel yet, but if that's indeed a go, I'll likely be at least giving San Diego a sidelong glance next summer. We'll see what develops.
