Heard from a friend of mine today that one of the local radio stations is holding a premiere of the TMNT movie, this coming Saturday. They're giving away tickets on the radio station.
Unfortunately, it's one of the few stations in town that I don't much care for. So, I emailed the program manager to inquire about getting tickets some other way.
Hee, they're putting a double invite aside with my name on it. So glad that I asked!!

I have absolutely no idea when it is.  I'm hoping it's on the tickets. I've checked the movie theatre's website and they're not showing the premiere at all - but there are two of the movies that don't have 9:00pm showings. So, it's either later in the evening, or before noon. Addendum: Sounds like it's a morning showing. Now, must pull out my autographed "City at War" TMNT sweatshirt... *chortle* |

I dreamt last night my Dad somehow had the new movie on video, even though it wasn't evne out yet 7 him & I were watching it in our living room. Then this afternoon, we really did watch TMNT - only, it was TMNT 2 that came on YTV. Lol.

~Lenni~ That was the Premiere at Grauman's Chinese Theater! I wish I could have scored a ticket, but in a way, I'm glad I didn't-- cause it's gonna make Friday that much more meaningful. And thanks for the hugs, Leonardo, and lookie who I saw--  He was there with Hannah-- Todd was there, too-- and we saw him when he came out of the theater (which was like odd-- hundreds of people around, and there was Stan walking towards us as we were walking towards the place-- LOL). But YOU and Ninjara are going to Japan, and I shall prolly NEVER get such an opportunity! Safe trip-- |

Yeah for Stan and family! Thanks for sharing the pic of Stan! Did you get to say hello to him? Or just have a chance to catch the photo? It looks to me like maybe he was smiling for you?? It was great Todd Shogun was there, too! I read their reports on the UY Dojo. Although I keep seeing stuff where Leo's having a rather hard time of it in the trailers and clips....  I still think it's going to be a Raph movie, even though our Raph here hasn't confirmed that yet. As for the Turtle mascots, it reminds me that I had promised to show up at Stan's booth at ComicCon this year wearing my Leo costume. Ninjara had promised to guide me so I don't end up like that Raph at the movie premiere.... |
