Hey Brina, just today I had that Donatello/Lucky Spencer manip as my desktop wallpaper and I can't get over how well you did that! It almost makes me want to rewrite the story I did for it (which I would if I could remember what was going on at that time on General Hospital)

Hey Brina, just today I had that Donatello/Lucky Spencer manip as my desktop wallpaper and I can't get over how well you did that! It almost makes me want to rewrite the story I did for it (which I would if I could remember what was going on at that time on General Hospital) Oh, wow! I remember doing that for you in Summer 2000. I had just lost my home and was living at my aunt and uncle's house. It was difficult to do anything 'artistic' because all of my art tools were locked in a storage room. The outcome of the drawing made me feel I still had the urge to create fanart and I was quite pleased with it. I'm curious Brinatello, how did you colour the don and April pic so well? I colored it in a graphic arts program called Corel DRAW Photo Paint 8. I used a lot of zoom-in, zoom-out for the small, hard-to-see spots, the eye-dropper tool to get color match samples from an actual picture from the cartoon, darkening tools, blending tools, spray tools, the mask tool to work on one spot at a time evenly, and so on. Colored pics take me awhile to complete depending on how much detail I wish to put into it. I had this one done in a few hours.

You know, seeing this art again brought back a ton of memories, the days of when things were better. I had more free time, so to speak. I did sooo much art, either my own or coloring someone else's (with permission, of course) and after seeing this one again, I truly miss doing it. Why don't you do it anymore?

That looks ok except for the fact that Donny doesn't go with April, but who cares. It is a good picture but would be hard to draw... that looks like computer design too. But who cares whether computer design or hand draw, as long as it is a good pic i am happy.

I remember seeing this picture somewhere else, too. I love it! I think it's a cute picture.
