Not sure if this is new news or not, but I'd rather risk repeating such than not. They'll be releasing the movie in DVD mode July 10th of this year. :0) Found the news on the TMNT's official website where they're advertising the movie oriented comic books.
As I mentioned on another thread, Christmas is coming early this year. :0)

Is it just me or are they getting faster with DVD releases? Rocky Balboa came out a few weeks ago, when I expected it around maybe May.

No, it's not just you. They are coming out faster. Then again, can you really blame them? I'd rather put out a DVD just after the movie stops playing so that the movie is still fresh in the minds of the audience.
Back to the news about the movie...*writes it in calendar* Definately another DVD that I must get.

This movie will be in my collection they day it comes out widescreen even though I dont even have a wide screen tv I have all other tmnt films who does'ent I am a hugh dvd collecter with over 200+ in my collection. Anywyas just here to says i will be getting it maybe even watching it alot like the good old days

BSW Widescreen DVDs are still okay even if you don't have a widescreen TV, it maintains the original aspect ratio and original picture. |

For what it's worth, TVShowsonDVD.com is reporting that the "TMNT" DVD will be released Aug. 7, around when the 1987 cartoon's Season 5 will be released. http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=7381The site shows cover art for both the movie and the TV DVD releases. I wish the movie cover was more serious than silly, but oh well. Shucks, and I wrote in pen on my calendar for a July 10 release. Well, if this is true and it's a better-quality DVD then it's worth the wait. |

Season 5 of the 1987 cartoon is already out!?!?! WTF!!?!?! I only have Volumes 1-3 & 5 for the first season! I haven't seen anything else! Ack!
