Stories rules *Please Read*

Hiya everyone...

This is the area to post up fanfics and other type of stories you may like to share.  Though I would like to place a few rules here for everyone to please read and follow.   This is to keep this board a clean friendly place for people of all ages.

1.  Please no stories with any graphic scenes that could be seen as Hentai.
2.  Please try to keep the fanfics here TMNT related.  If you have a web site that lists a bunch of your fanfics and a few are TMNT and a few are not, that's ok.  As long as any links that are given here do go to something TMNT for people.
3.  If you read someones fanfic please do reply to their topic and give your thoughts... though no bashing if you don't like something about the story be creative and let them know why so they can fix it in the future or just see things different than you.
4.  Links can not go to any pages that contain adult graphics or other stories with Hentai stuff within.
5.  Have fun!  

* All fanfics will be read over (as soon as the mods can get to it) to make sure they apply to the rules.  And of course we'll try to reply when we can as well about the stories.*

If you're telling a story that is real life related... it's gotta be connected some how to TMNT and it has to be marked in the title or at the top of the post that it's a true story.

No one with Fanfics to share?  Just curious because I know a few of the people here are writters... I'm a bit surprised not see topics popping up about their fanfics.

Is it just me, or is no one here into TMNT fanfics?   I'll have to share a TMNT story when I get back to help kick this topic into gear... it's getting lonely over here.

What about language? I mean I got a few scenes in my story NEW TURTLE ON THE BLOCK.. that has a few bad words in it.  Would you want me to edit them out?  Orignaly the story was a PG-13 almost R Setting...  I got new Hentai scenes... If I did I'd edit them out..  I suck at making sex scenes anyways.. -_-

If you are posting your story directly on this site, I believe that the auto-censor will change any words that are deemed 'bad'. If you're posting an outside link, you might want to put in a warning that the language might be a bit harsh. Heck, putting a warning like that would be a good idea, anyway.

Okay, thanks for the head's up.. I was just making sure I wasn't breaking any rules.   Ever thought of a rating system for Fics? I mean you can only post certain materials in a certain secition... G,PG, PG-13 and R..  Have a rating section...

What about crossovers?  Are THEY okay to post here?  Say, the TMNT and the Biker Mice From Mars?  That's one that I'm working on right now (well, NOT RIGHT now, right now!  I'm not at home!  Heh.).  If it's NOT okay to post it here, just let me know.  I aim to please....AND I don't wann get in trouble around here!

Anyway, I SHOULD be posting my TMNT/BMFM crossover fic here soon.  Just as soon as all the craziness around here dies down, anyway.  I LOVE the Christmas Season, but SHEEESH! the shopping part of it can be MORE than crazy!!!        

Anyway, it may BE a litle bit before the first bit of it goes up, so just bear with me, okay?  Cool.

Which brings up a NEW question from me.  To wit:

Do I/can I post installments of my fic HERE, or do I post them somewhere else, and just post a link to them?  Just curious.  I wannna play by the rules, here.  Easier to stay OUT of trouble that way, IF ya know what I mean.

You can deff post them either way.   I usually just post them here, so ya don't have to worry about another site going down.  So you're more than welcome to start a topic for each installment (that way people can leave reviews per an installment for ya).

Can I post the links to my stories? What's the rule on that, 'cause some of mine are violent. Not super bad, but I mean, if they get cut, they bleed. People die. And I have one that is really violent, in that sense, but no Hentai. And there is some language, but it's always minor.

Is it okay to post the links to those?

I'd say go ahead and post your links but make sure to put plenty of warnings for people, so they know what they're getting themselves in for.
