Nine times now, and I've gone so much, a theatre employee has noticed and recognized me. He stopped me on my way out about ten minutes ago after the movie, and asked me if I was seeing Ninja Turtles again. I cheerfully replied "yes", and he asked me if I liked it. I kind of laughed, and answered I should for seeing it nine times already. He then asked me if it was better than the first movie, and I said I thought so. He told me he loved the first movie, and I agreed I did too; that it and this movie was up there on the same level really.

He wanted to know if it had any cussing in it, because some parent asked him and wasn't sure about taking their kid to see it. I assured him there was nothing of the sort. Though some people really should do their research more. Rolling Eyes

It was nice talking to him, and he'll probably see me around a few more times.  Happy/Smile

Lucky 10! You'll never believe what happened to me tonight.

Well, the guy I had talked to last night was in the ticket booth tonight, and he totally hooked me up with a free ticket! When he didn't take my money, I was confused, but he smiled at me and told me it was on him as he winked. I was completely surprised, and absolutely thankful. I've never had that happen to me before. He was so cool.  Love

Final count: 16. Tonight was the last night it was showing in theatres for good around here, and I went to see it for one last time. I am very sad. Sad/Down I wish it would stay just one more week, like 300 is.

*starts to wait for August*

ACK!!! What about the GUY????

I was expecting some sort of romance story to take place!!!

And yeah-- I imagine it is about time that it starts leaving the theaters, since the DVD is due out in August.

YOU saw it more times than I did!  *weeps*

I will totally enjoy owning it on DVD, but I will miss seeing it on the big screen!

*laughs* That guy was twice as old as I was I found out. One of the managers at work I work under knew him from a long time ago. He's got kids older than me.

Nah, he was just being friendly, and he gave me two free movies. Yes, last Friday I went he was there working the ticket counter again, and hooked me up.

The big screen totally owns. Well, I was fortunate to see it as many times as I did. I credit living where I do, for once, and two I got frequent breaks from watching my roommate's kid when she had the night off, or baby was off with grandma for the week(end). So there was plenty of opportunities for me, and believe me, I took up on each and every one.

Dragged Misty to see it over at Arlington Cinema 'n Drafthouse.  We shared a pizza, of course.  (Hawaiian, if you must know.)  So make it 16.

Not quite the 20 I had been shooting for, and which looked so straightforward after 12 viewings on opening weekend, but sixteen is a sweet number.
