7. I did go to a couple of the silly little grocery store appearances that they did at the local grocery stores. Kinda embarrassed about it now, but in the fifth grade, it was pretty cool. Heh.
Awwww! I read this and just thought back to my years as being a Turtle at store appearances... it was so fun to meet all the kids. I don't think you have any reasons to be embarrassed about going, because a lot of people even adults go out of their way to meet the characters at the store. If I heard the Turtles were going to a local store today, I'd be there. And I'd be proud of the people in the costume, and a bit jealous cause I'd love to be in their place. I so miss being a Turtle. Never a reason for being embarrassed over meeting any Turtle. Though I'm sure some could give ya a few good laughs.
I'm curious, did you get any pictures of you with those Turtles and are you willing to share?
You know me, I love costume stuff. I still really wish the next movie was going to be Live Action again.
