Hey, so how any of you here are familiar with the group Vanilla Ice. Well they have sang a rap of TMNT - well almost fully related. So i will give you the lyrics, unfortunately you will have to download the song if you want it. I think everyone that has seen movie #2 knows that song. Many radio stations in the US actually played that song on the radio from time to time, along with VI's other songs when he was popular. Some of us are overly familiar with that song, in my case because we used it as part of our skit at last year's San Diego Comic Con Masquerade performance. So I hope you'll forgive me if I pass on needing to download the lyrics...  |

Yeah i have had that song for a year or so now... took me awhile to figure out that they were referring to the TMNT when they sang it.

That's the movie it's in. The Secret of the Ooze
I've known that song since the day I saw that movie, and got the sound track. I prefer Ya Kid K's song on there "You are my Hero" more than "Ninja Rap" but yes, the song was written for the movie. He's even in the movie singing it. So yeah, a lot of people know the song very well.

Yay i am gonna hire the secret ooze then. Yay i just saw it it is awesome! They played the Ninja Rap at the exact time don't you think? My favorite bit was the bit where Tokko and Rahzar came after the turtles and Leo said Raph take care of the ugly one then Raph said no you take care of the ugly one, then Don said i will take care of the ugly one... then Mikey says Uh guys which one is the ugly one! The ninja rap suited the movie very well. |

It must be one of those it's so bad it's fun and many so people still love it? Seriously, I wondered if we would get booed off the stage for using that song in our San D Con Masquerade skit, right? But the crowd went nuts! And based on at least one video recording I saw from the crowd, some people were actually singing along, too!! *scratches head* Still think it's the Too Many Angelos theory or something.... (which is not about Angelo here, but ALL of the Angelos out there!) |

When I was younger, I used to stop on this one patch of concrete on the way home from school, & I'd start dancing & be like, "Go Ninja! Go Ninja! Go! Go! Go Ninja!" I couldn't remember the words to Ninja Rap - haha. But, it used to make people laugh.

Well i have been to many parties before and at one time they put on the Ninja Rap. Fairly i am a good dancer and singer, in fact for a young age i made these 2 pretty good rap songs. So when i danced people were enjoying it, of course it was sort of like a company party thing so my dad had to ask the boss whether i could and he said yes.
So yeah i feel pretty comfortable in dancing out on stage.

Yeah i guess you could say that... but my friends and all (because i am really popular) they think it is dancing is gay except for break dancing which i can also do. So i can only do break dancing in school... otherwise my popularity will go down  Anyway i don't really care what they think of me as long as i have friends i am ok But if i don't i get really lonely and turn out to be what you call a nerd. Lolz geez i am so talkative i just told you my life story! |

I loved Ninja Rap. I remember my neighbors coming over and we'd watch TMNT II. When that song came on, we'd all get up and start doing dance moves to it. It was so much fun. I know a lot of people hate Vanilla Ice, but I used to think he was cool.
