I believe there will be. I think that it will happen. I hope they keep the voices (and can find an excellent-- and Asian-- actor to replace Mako ), and I hope that Kevin Munroe is at the helm. But I do think that there will be another one.

I can see them making another one, but they may have to make it direct to DVD.

They would be getting another VA for Splinter because Mako passed away while the film was being made

I would hope that they get another one to the big screen, I'm crossing my fingers for it. And the one thing they really need to do different is promote it better!
Personally I felt TMNT was better than Shrek The Third, though because of promotions Shrek the Third took in over 100 Million on it's first weekend. I went to see it, cause I loved the first two and I am really disappointed with it, though that's for another topic. And no I'm not being bias here because I like TMNT more, because I agree that Shrek 1 & 2 are wonderful movies and deserved the money they brought in at the box offices.
Kevin was building it up for another movie, though we won't find out till the Licenses show this summer if there'll be another movie, or even another season of TMNT on TV.
Here's hoping everything goes great for TMNT this year!

I think what's likely to happen is that the project will be greenlighted, but they'll decide on where to release it later (i.e., after the DVD has been out a few weeks). Meanwhile, they'll draw the thing as widescreen so they can release it either way. DVD junkies are used to letterboxed films by now, so if they draw it widescreen, a few black bars won't kill a DVD-only release. But if they draw it for home screens from the getgo, they can't then go back slap it up on the big screen.
Speculation, to be sure, but that's the way I'd do it. But I'm just a fan...

They made enough money to justify the second one.

Just like most turtle fans. I'm wondering who the villain would be. If there is a sequel...
Karai did sort of drop a blantant hint of a sequel but that doesn't really guarantee a second CGI movie. But if so the bad guy wouldn't have to be Shredder. It could be Stockman. Or even Bishop.

i liked the new villian dude. But I don't they they should make a new main villian for the next movie. They HAVE to use a bad guy from the ready made stock pile. I would like to see them do something with the Rat King and Bishop.
