I'm not completely sold on Don being that much more intelligent, in a general sense, than the others. They all have exhibited significant intelligence in their own ways. BEcause they were brought up to make the most of their abilities, and talents.
And Mikey is no dummy, even though he has been depicted as such. It's his sense of humor. People misunderstand him and think he's as daft as a brush.

I think not.
Don, as you may have seen in the first movie, is not as good at spontaneous witticisms like his brothers. Though he shows some improvement after practicing, it's not his forte.
As far as mechanical problem solving goes, especially under pressure, his scores would be way off the scale.
And yes, as far as the academics go, Nanette, you have a point, he'd likely be in that category. Then he'd probably have a couple of PhDs by the time he's 35... though I don't know how he can defend his theses to any committee, unless he pulled the human proxy trick like in the old toon, with Irma, and being... Donna... Tello...

I don't think that would be feasible.
Well, look at it this way, if he was in this world, he'd have to be content with an informal self-education, because any of his accomplishments would draw too much attention to him.
Just my take on it.
