Over a year ago, I started getting into this webtoon called " Bonus Stage", which is a story about a guy named Joel Dawson who created a virtual cartoon reality and drags his friend Phil Argus on all his crazy adventures! Their real world happens to be based on the writer's previous incarnation known as " High Score", which means that BS itself is a cartoon within a cartoon. You'll have to watch Episode 25 of the series to get a better idea of everything.

Hmm...don't read any of those, and I don't have links to the ones I do read, but I try to check the following daily:
Devil's Panties - ongoing life of a female comic writer Oh My Gods! - ongoing story of a group with many religious & other beliefs Something Positive - I mean, how can you not like ChooChoo Bear?? Sinfest - Always worth a chuckle Queen of Wands - this one actually ended in May but it is currently being rerun with commentary Alien Vs Predator - Quite funny, but only updates once a week or so

Earl reads more webcomics than I do. Most of the ones I read, he sends me to get a laugh out of, particularly if there's any TMNT or Star Wars references. Of the ones he reads that he's sent me, they are... Devil's Panties - We get a kick out of this one, lots of comic references, and he sent me a few funny religious spoofs, too. VG Cats - Not sure how much he reads this one anymore, but I know he's read it. Something Positive - This one I know he reads. Choo Choo Bear! Sinfest - I still have a bunch of the ones where he took his characters, and turned them into Japanese kanji symbols. Wonder if he's done any more. I've seen a couple of the Queen of Wands courtesy of Mo... Let's see...Earl I know also reads from time to time PVP, Mac Hall, The Least I Could Do, Kevin & Kell....I think occasionally Sabrina Online, too. Another favorite of ours is a Norwegian comic by the name of Nemi, about a Norwegian goth girl. He's found an English translation somewhere, it's pretty funny. Like...Raph if he were Norwegian, Goth, and a girl.

Found another webcomic that Earl occasionally sends me to that I completely forgot about. Heh. It's called "Catena", about a bunch of cats...and oddly enough, the Grim Reaper. LOL http://www.catenamanor.com/Trust me, it's a good one.

Alien Vs Predator - Quite funny, but only updates once a week or so Raph, did you mean Alien Loves Predator (aLp)? Because I tried to find a AvP web comic but all I found is aLp. But I'm glad I found aLp because it is hilarious! And if you did mean aLp, then thanks! Cuz it's now a regular visit for me!

If you're a fan of Penny Arcade I suggest Rob and Elliot. I got linked to that yesterday and read through it at work giggling my butt off!

Yeah, this is an old topic, but I have picked up a couple of new web comics since the last post. Heheh First is perhaps my new favorite: Questionable Content. It's quite amusing, though sometimes you can skip a couple of pages and not really miss anything. I think I adore it for the AnthroPC and the sarcastic wit. "You're as to humor as Helen Keller to competitive paintball." Another is just plain crazy: Dr McNinja. Ninja vs. Pirates. What more do you need? I'm sure I'll find more.

I don't really read web comics all to often, unless a friend pushes me directly towards it for a one time shot. Usually when online I'm here on TMNT-L or off RPing else where. *shrug* Not that I don't think they're good just that I'm not much of a reader when it's not interactive.

Well as I said in my last post I don't read unless pushed towards one, well PG aimed me in the direction of one that I really LOVE now...
Mutant Ninja Turtles Gaiden!!!!
I sat down thinking I'd read a little at a time of it, seeing as how there was already so much up for it. Though once I started reading I wasn't able to stop. I went through the full comic yesterday, and I can't wait for the next chapter to be put up.
If anyone hasn't read it, I HIGHLY Recommend it!!! Hehe! You of all people, Mikey, I thought would've known about MNT much sooner, but since you don't read webcomics, that explains it. Yes, it's a wonderful story with great art and fantastic character development. Some webcomics I recommend: http://www.decimatededen.com/ - Decimated Eden manga comic by my good online friend Phoenixcrash/Sivvy. She's all self taught and is improving day by day. http://www.carpediemcomic.com/ - Carpe Diem, a furry webcomic with beautiful, vivid artwork and amazing characters and stories.

I don't read many, but I find myself checking out these two a lot: www.sabrina-online.com -Furry about a skunk named Sabrina who is obsessed with computers and works in a porn studio updating their website and stuff. It's pretty cool. www.mistythemouse.com -Another furry comic. This time starring a mouse named Misty who lives with her mouse husband Jules. It's basically just about their lives but it's also for mature audiences.

Being that I'm a HUGE Band Geek, yes, I admit to being in marching band and if I hear that "One time, at band camp" line once more time, I'm going to slap someone (That never happens anyway) but Yes, I enjoy "Tales from Band Camp" http://www.talesfrombandcamp.com/It's actually amusing and everything about being a musician is true, right down to having to play Stars & Stripes Forever and Sleigh Ride every year. Not that I mind. Yeah, that's it for web comics that I follow.

I didn't know about web comics for the longest time and then I became addicted to CTRL+ALT+DEL and it is all Mike S. fault. At Connecticon 2004 the artist for CTRL+ALT+DEL was there and Mike bought his first book. We were standing talking when a member of con staff interrupted and Mike handed me the book to hold, bad idea. I love to read and start reading most of the stuff I am handed even if I shouldn't. I had to read more thus becoming hooked and I still read it today.

So, here's an odd question--and I don't know if it's been asked before... But how many people here read webcomics? Kameko & I are working on starting one (it's a process, let me tell ya..) and I have a pretty large list of comics I follow, but I'm just curious on how many people here read them? Aaaannd, if so, what ones do ya read? Um, I read toomany to count, some I read for the story, some I read for the humor, and others I go to simply gawk at the art. XD Sluggy Freelance (Humor...and the story ) Dominic Deegan Oracle for Hire (Again, humor) Van Von Hunter (Though it's been EONS since he's updated...XP) Earthsong (Art and story) By Moon Alone (art & story) Drowtales Moonless Age (at first just the art, now the story is growing on me) Wayfarers Moon (just stumbled across this one, I like the story) Megatokyo (a little bit of all of the above) Penny & Aggie (more of the art, a little for the story, a lot more for the humor) The Adventures of Dr. McNinja (The art AND the humor, I *love* the alt texts he puts on his comics) The Order of the Stick (A MUST for DnD fans, absolutely hilarious) Inverloch (though it's finished, I loved the story and the art) The Phoenix Requiem (new comic by the author of the Inverloch, her art is getting mucho better too) Cool Cat Studio (it's unique...like the art, same artist as Penny & Aggie, but it's a little more adult) Menage a 3 (same artist as Penny & Aggie & Cool Cat Studio, but VERY adult) Xylia Tales (At first just the art = WOW, but the story is reeling me in big time) I used to watch RPG World (Til' he stopped makin' em...though I get the inclination that he started again o_O?) and Fallen, but those have kinda died and have stopped updating. What about everybody else?

On a daily basis, I check out the following webcomics:
Punch & Pie (sequel to Queen of Wands) Devils Panties (NOT Satanic porn!) Something Positive (gotta love Choo Choo Bear) Two Lumps (Eben & Snooch) Oh My Gods! (they visit Salem!) Ten Doctors (Local artist! And it's Doctor Who!)

Ah! Had a funny feeling there'd be a topic on this somewhere, thanks PG! And as for links... (since I see Fug put some up) http://www.sluggy.com/ <-- Sluggy Freelance...been going on for EVER and a day, so it'd take..god, a good few weeks of non-stop reading to catch up. But it's fun. XD Lessee...Dr Mcninja has been posted..same with Dominic Deegan.. http://www.earthsongsaga.com/index.html <-- Earthsong (nice art too, she tries to update about once a week) http://www.bymoonalone.com/ <--- By Moon Alone (Updated every Monday) http://www.drowtales.com/ <-- Drowtales (under construction, they're re-drawing a bit of them, but there's still a good..what...12 ish chapters that are complete that you can read?) http://www.wayfarersmoon.com/ <-- Wayfarer's Moon (It's pretty new, updates Tuesdays) http://www.megatokyo.com/ <-- Megatokyo (Good for Anime/Manga fans, it's an oldie though, so there's LOTS of stuff to catch up on--usually updates once or twice a week) http://www.pennyandaggie.com/ --> Penny & Aggie (AKA High School Drama, but I enjoy the Archie type drawing style -- updates three times a week, M, W & F) http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0581.html ---> Order of the Stick (So worth reading, insanely funny even if you don't do Dungeons & Dragons--but there are quite a few in jokes though -- he updates most of the time about two or three times a week, but lately it's been once a week) http://inverloch.seraph-inn.com/ --> Inverloch (This one is finished, worth a read, very nice art) http://requiem.seraph-inn.com/ ---> Phoenix Requiem (Worth a read, barely started, nice art -- and I think Jonas was based off the actor who plays Dr. Who -- 2 times a week, mondays and Thursdays--but she's in Australia, so usually Sunday & Weds for those of us in the US) http://www.coolcatstudio.com/ ---> Cool Cat Studio (artist from Penny & Aggie, more adult themed--Normally updates T & Th, but is down to only TH due to her overwhelming work load) http://xyliatales.com/ --> Xylia Tales (She just started this one late last year, it's got GORGEOUS art, and she generally updates on Monday & Thursday. well written story as well)
