Just read it last night after you logged off and I loved reading it! I'm starting to wish I had actually gotten into the series when it was available.

Finally got around to reading your interview with Gary. Very good interview. Great questions and great responses from Gary. The Image series was really the last series I kept up with, so it's still relatively fresh in my mind even though it's been 6 years since it ended. Jeez... has it really been that long?

Anyhow, I always liked the Image series. Gary Carlson's stories and dialogue is what made that series, IMHO. So, I'm glad he's proud of the work he did, as he should. But Gary definitely hit the nail right on the head when he said:

Quote from: "Gary Carlson"
Unfortunately, we were screwed right from the start. Everywhere we went to push the first issue, stores had someone in a fluffy turtle costume and people were bringing in their four and five year olds. I kept telling parents that the book wasn't really appropriate for such young kids and pointed them toward the Archie series.

Only now are the TMNT "retro-cool" as Gary also appropriately put it.

Good stuff Andrew!

Thanks, Fugi. Yeah, crazy, but it's been 6 years, almost to the day. The book ended in October 99, it's October 05 now.
