My family is made up of pirates, who don't do anything. We just stay at home, and lie around... and if you ask us to do anything, we'll just tell you, "We don't do anything." And yes, I have been to Boston in the Fall... and in the Summer, and in the Winter...

I sit at a desk all day, setting drug testing (and clinical) accounts up and daydreaming about world domination.
WOOOOOORLD DOMINAAAAAATIOOOOON!!
...well, ok...maybe not so much world domination as avoiding snapping on stupid people. Man, it'd be nice if my minions would listen to me for once...

I use to work at a factory job making seals for companies like "John Deer". Though I was injured at that company, now I'm on Worker Comp, and working to find away of getting it so I can work again.
I see TMNT-L really as a job for me, trying to keep things up to date. Make sure everyone is happy. And fighting off the evil spammers.

I'm a mother (And yes no matter what anyone else tells you that is a full time job), and I also do delivery for a cateering service. The food place is called Bruchi's, specializes in cheesesteaks and subs. Even though the are a little more exspensive then Subway I think Bruchi's food is wayyyyy better. I think the stores are mostly in the Northwest. So come to Vancouver, Washington and try it out!

As for me, I am in the beloved horror known to man as retail, at Kohls. It sucks, is how I can best describe it without using profanity. It's a job I hope not to be in much longer, for I long to go to school and then one day work in the love of cartoon production, where ever they need me most....where ever is best for me....just to be a part of it one day, would make my life. It'll happen....one day.

Really? I didn't know Veggie Tales did that song! I got it from a fan-made musical video of an anime series that I can't remember the name of, but the song is hilarious. Probabably can find it on YouTube... And belatedly to comment on DancingFae's post about being a mom, yes, it's a full time job all right, it's pretty much 24/7. Even more so, if you're a single mom, who has to scrape together a living as well as raise the kids to not be juvenile delinquents.

I work in security. I kick people off properties, pry drunken men off squicked women, and help people off their hotel room floors with the assurance that "No sir, no one is breaking into your fifth story balcony. It's new year's eve, and what you're hearing are fireworks."
I'm taking a few months off for my road trip, but I'm leaving on good terms with the company and may come back into security when and if I return to Florida.

Going by your expression in the pics thread, I am not surprised. You have that "Don't mess with me, bub!" look.

I am a claims adjuster. I investigate auto accidents to determine liability and investigate and settle injuries that arise from those accidents.

I grew up a farm girl and still help out on the farm, although I'm currently working on a book I hope to get published since I enjoy writing more. Earl does more farming and seems better suited for it than myself. If it weren't snowing a powdered sugar spring snow over here, we'd probably be over there clearing up branches that fell off the trees out at the farm over the winter. Inferno: I've heard of Melaleuca. A relative of ours used to sell their products and sold some to us a few years ago. 2000-2001ish, thereabouts. It's been awhile. I miss their vanilla bath soap, though. Rarely do I like vanilla, and Melaleuca had a really nice-smelling one.

I posted that pic in my LJ a little while ago and received a couple of similar responses. That's me not posing, so I'm slightly concerned by the fact that my 'nothing' is somehow intimidating. It would explain several curious responses I've received for apparently no reason, though. I'm actually a rather passive and introverted person who avoids confrontation.

Even more so, if you're a single mom, who has to scrape together a living as well as raise the kids to not be juvenile delinquents. Hehe, actually, Veggie Tales did it first, and then a band covered it, and Leah also introduced me to the video--it's "The Bounty Hunters who don't do anything" --Cowboy Bebop darlin' (PS, Veggie Tales is coming out with a movie--The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything) As for occupations? I'm with Fae, SAHM (stay at home mom) and it is a VERY busy job. Especially when the kiddo is sick. I watch him, clean up around here, do all of the food shopping (and clothes..etc), random yard work (which entails a LOT right now since we just got a new house), PAINTING (g'lord! Too much of that, glad I'm done), making da meals, and any art project that comes along for here or through other odd jobs (Doing a development job right now via MIL) So no, there is nothing easy about this job.
