I wish this topic was about The Flintstones...

Just a heads up for everyone that there's a good possiblity I will be unreachable for the next several days starting in the evening on Sunday (Eastern Daylight Time). Perhaps longer. I live on the west coast of Florida and Hurricane Wilma is heading my way. Currently, the track for the landfall of Wilma's center is quite south of me. About 100 mi (160km) south. However, a hurricane can extend outward for hundreds of miles. Also, these predicted paths are NEVER 100%. So, if you need to contact me then now is the time to do it.

Yeah, please stay safe, like, take all the precautions needed which I have no idea what they are since I never get hurricanes up here but if there's lightning, make sure you have surge protectors on everything electronic...

But please let us know when you're back so we know you're ok,

No worries folks. My area has yet again been spared the wrath of a hurricane. Just a lot of rain and wind for several hours. But nothing to spectacular.

So this is how my day went:

- wake up at 8:30am and see it's raining quite a bit and very windy
- turn on the tv and see that Hurricane Wilma made landfall south of Naples, FL or about 120mi (200km) south of me
- see that Hurricane Wilma has also almost made it through half the state of FL
- putz around for a couple hours before walking Molson (my dog) in rainy & blustery weather
- get annoyed that the rain lets up after finishing the walk
- get even more annoyed getting a call from work to come in
- go to work at around 1:30pm and get all the servers back to working order
- get home around 5:00pm and took a nap
- woke up around 6:30pm and took Molson out for another walk
- watched some hockey till around 10:00pm
- Michaelangelo calls around 10:30pm & I kick her off the phone so I can take a shower

That brings us to now... and I'm not sure why I typed all that out. As if you care. Razz

Anyhow, back to our regularly scheduled forums...
