Hey everyone,

I figured another weekly topic we can have around here that people might enjoy.  Heh yeah I come up with a lot of these.   This one is TMNT Trivia.   I'll ask a question, everyone put in their answers....  and every week I'll give the answer to the last question and start a new question.

If you want to copy someone elses answer we can't stop you, there is no prizes or anything.  This is just for fun.  Maybe sometime we'll find something we can do for prizes that people can take part in.  Though this isn't the topic for that.   Though at the end of the week, the real answer will be posted so people can see if they were right or not.

I'm going to try this for four weeks, if it gets good response with people replying.  Than I'll keep it going, though if it just sits here with one or two replies than I may just stop it.   I do a lot of weekly updates so now it's coming down to which topics people really like or which ones I just update for no reasons what so ever... so let me know if you like the topic by trying to answer the trivia.

Since this is the first Question I figured we could go back into the past to the beginning of TMNT for the Trivia.

Which of these Three Drawings is the Very first Drawing of a Turtle?

A.

B.

C.

Extra Credit in this one:

For each picture name the artist that did the drawing and the year it was drawn.

Extra Extra Credit:

Give the date the TMNT were Created.

Please do not give us where you got the information for your answer.  Let everyone take their guest or show what they know.  The answer for this one, will be given on Tuesday November 1st.

My guess is that the first turtle was B. As far as the extra credit goes, well i'm not too sure on that though i'd have to say i know Kevin and or Peter did at least one of the three.

As for dates... dude, i feel lucky if i remember what day today is!

B is the first Turtle, drawn by Eastman probably in 1983.  A is Laird's first drawing of a Turtle, drawn a couple minutes after Eastman's. C, I believe is drawn by Laird in 1983 also, or perhaps 1984.

im going to take a stab and gues at B, mostly because if you look at the three there is a progression of style from most turtle like to slightly more human... though A could be it too...

First TMNT drawing: A
Kevin Eastman drew A (84?), Peter B (84?), and I haven't a clue on C Happy/Smile (Anime Style);

Date TMNT were created: GAAAH! I knew this one! November 84? Sad/Down November 87 was when the cartoon debut Very Happy/Big Grin

I know Eastman drew B, and that was the first napkin sketch. 1983. Laird, I believe, drew A shortly after/at the same time. And the third is a later one I think Laird pencilled and Eastman inked. Not 100% on the last one, but close.

I choose A!

Reason for that one is because if i remember correctly Mirage was against the idea of there being a female turtle and i don't see Playmates toys designing her. So of course i pick the company i know pretty much nothing about... kinda how much i know on Venus herself *G*

I'm going to go with A as well, because I think they were the people who did the Next Mutation, or at least had thier hands in it somewhat...i also say this knwoing they did a corny power rangers crossover and stuff didn't change all that much when that happened (effects and bakcground wise) so... Saban gets my vote.

I'm going to say B because if I remember correctly, Michael Dooney designed the costumes for all the Turtles in that show.  Maybe he designed Venus too.

Answer to the last question

The Correct Answer is B, Mirage Studios.  Though it was Saban/Fox that required a female Turtle, she was designed at Mirage Studios.

New Question

3)  Who introduced Mark Freedman to the Turtles?

a)   Kevin Eastman
b)   Ryan Brown
c)   Peter Laird
d)   David Sim
e)   Kevin Siembieda

Remember, give the answer you think it is.  But not the reason or the source that you got the answer from so that people do not copy your answer.  The correct answer will be given later.   Happy/Smile

This is a guess, but I think it's 'e' Kevin Siembieda.
