You know what's also interesting, is everyone always goes on about Splinter as the dad.
But, of course, he's not, really. He's a 'spiritual' or adopted like father.  
So there's also mystery turtle dad out there, too.

Yeah, I guess you're right on that, Leo. Maybe someone should write a fan fic where the Turtles meet up with their true mom.

I posted a topic similar to this .. er, last year I think, where I asked if the Turtles' biological family was ever discussed in any of the formats/media.

And I pretty much got the same answer as here, *hehe* - it doesn't matter because they ARE a family and Splinter is their father.

Still.. what if we got to meet Raphael's mother? What if she mutated somehow? EGADS, LOOK OUT!   She'll come after that boy with a giant stick. XD

That could be the subject of nightmare fan fic stories!!!
