Be happy with what you get!

Hey one and all...this has been slowly building up/bothering me lately...friends/people in the Venture Bros community I'm in have been complaining alot lately. Complaining when is there gonna be new Venture Bros, and when they find out the answer is sometime in Spring 2008, that oh good golly thats waaaaay too long apparently. And I'm thinking, yes, that is awhile to wait, but when you think about it, the following facts come up....

~It takes alot longer then you think to make a WHOLE SEASON of an animated tv show, especially to make it WELL/GOOD QUALITY
~Doc and Jackson (the creators) as well as everyone else in the show are working their tails off practicaly 24/7 to get it done for us asap...they've prolly forgotten what real food/sleep are by now XD
~We're getting it alot sooner then we got the second season!
~WE'RE GETTING A THRID SEASON, AND MOST LIKELY A FOURTH AS WELL!! Be happy we know this fact, instead of having to hold our breath hoping and praying they're gonna continue the show!

People (and I mean at least the people I'm dealing with anyway) apparently don't think of the fact that animated shows don't just pop outta people's butts, they take tiiiiiime to make...especially since these 2 guys are not only writing the episodes and scripts, they're helping make the story boards and directing them and doing voice overs for SEVERAL of the characters...and then of course there's always problems to run into and correct, and every episode has to be turned in by a certian time...it's ALOT harder then people think. So considering all that, I think we're getting it alot sooner then I thought we would, if not right on time. It's hard to wait, and believe me, I of all people know that, I've been struggling with new Venture withdraw ever since season 2 stopped playing on tv. But I know that new Venture is on the way (and that's VERY comforting, especially after that super long wait for the greenlight of season 2), and the wait is TOTALLY gonna be worth it. So I'm being happy and patient....but getting annoyed at people that are complaining.

They're working their butts off, it IS coming, and when it does it'll be even more awesome then before!! SO BE HAPPY AND JUST BE QUIET AND WAIT!!

And...that's what I think about that! GO TEAM VENTURE!

Yeah they should be happy, at least the news is out there and Seasons 3 and 4 are being made.   Us TMNT fans are sitting here holding our breaths waiting to find out what 4Kids are doing with the Turtles.  No new episodes going on this year, just the rest of Fast Forward (which is already on DVD) and the lost season..... nothing new being made... kind of scary.

Nothing new being made on Turtles yet because they can't come up with a concept. Apparently they don't think the Turtles are gimmicky enough to sell to the population, so they're trying to come up with flashy gimmicks that you could use any kind character for. The show doesn't end up being about the Turtles, but becomes a show that they just stuck them in it on random.

First failed idea pitched by 4Kids was TMNT: Superworld where they wanted to make the show like Yu Gi Oh!, which Mirage rejected. Second idea pitched by 4Kids was TMNT: Overload, where they wanted to send the Turtles back to the past in their return to the present from the future, and take on their most challenging enemy yet; themselves as kids. Plus they wanted to throw in a digital enemy trying to take over the World Wide Web. Mirage approved this with some changes, but Playmates soundly rejected it, and said also it would confuse kids if they saw two Leonardos in trying to make a figure line out of it.

Playmates then pitched their idea, which was roughly titled Ultimate TMNT, where they wanted to revert back to the original cartoon and the Archie comics to take material from there. Mirage and 4Kids rejected this idea, so now they're left with waiting for 4Kids to pitch their third idea.

We're so close, the season is done being written and now we just have to wait for the recordings and animation! Stop complaining! Be happy!
