Tired, but here is Saturday's review... sorry it's a day late had a hard time thinking about typing last night.
The day started off with Fae & I doing a run to a bagle shop and getting late to the convention. Phoenix and Crittle were sleeping in. I wanted to go to the Q&A with Q&J panel, though the panel was half way over by time we got there. I thought we'd go to the autograph line, though heard it was already closed for the day. So I thought I'd stop by the Bleach panel, though it was just a fan panel... not a fan of fan panels.... so Fae and I found ourselfs free for a bit at the convention. How rear... esp at this con.
Fae and I took this time to find a place to sit as I share some stuff with her about the TMNT panel. This is my first time ever hosting a panel, so I wanted to go in with a plan, and do things a bit different than just the... "Hey this is the guest, introduce and ask questions". I wanted to give this more of a TMNT theme to the panel mixed with being a guest panel. That was fun, I enjoyed getting some feedback on my plans before the panel.
After talking and going over things, we went and picked up PG and Crittle from the hotel and went for lunch at Coney Island. After dinner to the convention. We went to the Super Hero panel, to my surprise Wayne and Mike were part of this panel. I went to see Hyper Strike. I sat through this panel for the most part, though I knew I had to leave early cause my panel started right after this one ended in a different room. I got out of the room as one of the staffers greeted me and asked if I knew my panel was going to start an hour late!! An HOUR LATE?! This was NOT going to happen to me, not now not on my first panel, and not with a Guest panel!
I went straight to con ops and asked them what's going on. And everyone got into action, this was great of them and I can't thank them enough as they were able to get things together and get me into the room during the time the TMNT panel was suppose to start. No one knows how happy I am that I left the other panel 20 minutes early! Fae was with me as we got everything outside the door for the panel, we had to wait for the panel that was in there to leave before we could go in. I went right in and started to set up, the staffers help by getting all of the chairs out for us as well. I brought my movie heads finding it entertaining that the voices of Mike and Leo were going to be there and those are the heads I own, Mike and Leo! *G* We got everything set up, as people came in we passed out a paper :
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles History Created on November 19th, 1983 by Kevin B. Eastman and Peter A. Laird, Ninja Turtles were only a joke. Though as the two inspiring artist looked at their creation the next day, they decided to make a comic based around their idea of Turtles that can fight. On May 5th, 1984 the black and white comic hit the stands and sold out within 3 weeks. In 1986 Kevin Siemdieda from Palladium Books introduced Mark Freedman to Eastman and Laird. Freedman took on the license of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' and brought us the toys, cartoons, movies, tours and so much more, making TMNT a big part of Entertainment History, world wide in the 1990's!
In 2003, 4Kids got the license and is now working to do the same for the Turtles that Mark did all those years ago, creating a new show, toy line, and even major motion picture movie! The new show takes on an edgier tone than the original cartoon series, the show still provides light and humorous moments. The first five seasons of the series were based more from the original Eastman and Laird comic of the 1980's and 90's.

We got the panel started, I told everyone fastly what the papers were and they also got TMNT fruit snacks which I got from K-Mart on Thursday. Than came introductions, and the question everyone who goes to conventions knows will be asked 'How did you get into voice acting and the job as a Turtle' With those quesitons heh which I asked to be brief (Mike doesn't know how to give short answers, which is cool we were getting a great laugh out of it and he kept going off onto other topics and Wayne would poke him.. hehehe). Than we opened the floor to questions. Around this time I was shocked, the room was 'Standing room only!' Though a lot of people, not a lot of questions though I came ready for this with a handful of questions written up that I know goes over well at conventions.
The panel went over very well, with a lot of laughs and information that people did not know. The good news is that Mike, Sam, Wayne, and John all will be back as the voices for the next season of TMNT. That is the best news I get to deliever from this weekend

Fae sang her song from
Anime Next 2005 and
Anime Vegas 2005 for Wayne. After the panel we did a HUGE group picture with everyone from the panel up front with the guest. Once I get a copy of this picture I will share with everyone here in the review topic.
After the panel was an autograph session so we went up stairs, for the autograph session. We got our items signed, and had some photos taken. Than went on our way, we picked up a pizza from my local pizza place than went to my house. Art Toons came over to see my collection so we hung out here for little bit, after they left we headed back to the hotel.
Than came a fun game of how much FaeFae notices. As I saw a TMNT bag of her's sitting on the bed and hide it in the room... goofing off I told Fae something of her's was missing and her job was to figure out what it was. She couldn't figure it out. Crittle and Phoenix were let in on the game, and than we got her to agree to do something to get the item back. Discussing it with Crittle and Phoenix, we decided to have Fae sing the song again. In front of a BIGGER crowd. Originally going to be out in the lobby where a band that takes request plays. Fae agreed and got her bag back *G*
