I posted this at Mikeys, and thought I'd better share the love as it were.

The Kurt Adler Christmas ornaments (so far):

The Mini-Ornaments will be perfect for me as I only put up a foot-tall fake tree each year.  But I’m disappointed that the fifth ornament is their name, and NOT Master Splinter.  Sad/Down

Here we have the molded ornaments (I think)-- once again, all four Turtles.  These are the regular size ornaments.  I’m getting them anyway.

I wonder why just Raphael?  I mean, if I were Santa, and I saw THIS waiting for me, NOONE’S stocking would be filled.



Two more stockings-- Leo and Raph (WHY no Mikey and Don?)

As you can see, though the other items reflect the 2007 movie turtles, these two are very much 2K3 designs (I have the Leo one as a screen-saver).  You can see them in the art gallery at Mirage’s site.


So-- MY complaints:

   NO Splinter!  HOW could they miss the opportunity to make a Splinter ornament (especially wearing a Santa hat?)?

   NO Don and Mike stockings-- unless they’re coming out later?  I like all four turtles, and I believe in equality.  Besides, with Raph getting the stocking topper gig, I suspect that a lot of jealousy is gonna exist between the guys, and that’s not good for family relations....


Other than the above, this is VERY NICE!!

wow...that's a lot of goodies for Christmas!
It does seem weird to not have a stocking for each Turtle. I'll agree to that.
The Mike with the Christmas pizza is very amusing!

Aw. And here, this is going to be my first Christmas with absolutely no decorations or the such. I just may need to get the ornaments and hang them somewhere anyway. They're just too cute!

I already have the 4Kids Leo ornament that Hallmark released last year, but I'm definitly interested in the Mikey ornament!

Awesome pics, Cyn. Thanks for sharing them. I want the Leo stocking! I may have my mom get it if we see it at Wal-Mart. I, too, have the Hallmark Leo ornament, but I might get another one anyway.

I don't want to directly quote the person without permission, but an online friend said that she bought these ornaments and actually took them back, they were so shoddily made/painted. She said that it was just too disgraceful. The pictures are cute, but I'd have to reeeeally inspect them before purchasing after hearing her rant about them.

Are they selling any TMNT Christmas stuff anywhere in Canada? I mean, isn't there suppsoed to be a calendar? I've been searching & have yet to find one. Grr.

I found the The Mini-Ornaments at Toys R Us.  They look better out of package Happy/Smile  I really like their shells. Happy/Smile

The 5-mini set I bought had 2 Raphs and no Leo! Sad/Down I had to return mine to TRU, and none of the boxes there had any Leos. Sad/Down

Yeah. We got Walmart, Zellers, Hallmark, & Canadian Tire that all sell Christmas ornaments. They selling them at any of these stores in Canada? Lol.

I got the pack of mini ornaments today. Happy/Smile No issues with duplicates and missing pieces. All four Turtles are present.

Edit: I've got a question. How come Donny and Mikey get to have their weapons, but Leo and Raph don't?
