Classic TMNT Toons

I was wondering if anyone out there buys to copies of the classic tmnt dvd's one to use one to collect. I would love to but can't afford to do both, can you and do you?

Good question, with the toys I do... but not with the DVDs.

As of now I can't afford to do that. I buy all the DVDs as they come out, though they're all opened and loved.    I'm hoping some day to be able to buy a set to put away.  The only TMNT DVD I've done that with was the Target version of the new movie since I knew it would be limited.

I decided since this is more of a collectors question to move this to "Comics & Collectables"  It fits that topic more, and may get more readers who are collectors

I don't see dvds as "collectible". I don't think they will go up in value...I keep mine in pretty good condition regardless, but I don't buy two copies. VHS tapes aren't really worth anything either. Although, I'm not an expert. Maybe I'm wrong!

Depends on if they go out of print, sometime if something is hard to find it might end up selling well on Ebay *shrug*

I do get all of my DVD covers autographed *G* Same with VHS covers when I can, DVD ones are easier to bring with though  My full 4Kids collection of DVD covers is now signed by Michael S. (Leonardo)

Going back to an earlier post on the thread, you said that you had put away the target version of the DVD. Was it actually limited release? Up here in Canada we don't have target just it's child "WAL-MART" (which lovingly prances from town to town up rooting and brutally destroying the down town shops) ANYWAYS, nough said about that. My mother in-law goes shopping from time to time south of the border as we can buy things cheaper down there (which makes no sense our dollar is the same now) so I had her pick one up for me... So I guess that was sort of a pointless story other then the fact that I might be one of the only Canadians with the special edition hahaha. I didn't find the behind the scenes very good (as expected) probably due to the rights of using different images such as the comics and toys.

That said, I am STILL!!! (as we all are I am assuming) waiting for the original 3 to come out with behind the scenes. Does anyone have any official info on this???

With all of the stuff that I collect, I can barely afford to buy just one of each... which I'm still lacking ._.;;... *Coughs* SO... I can't buy two copies that's for sure.. *laughs* ;
