Bishop was abducted by aliens when he young, and tortured.  He felt it was his duty now to protect the world from alien invasions.  To make a better human race.  In which he's always looking for something new to work with, as he's gathered lots of alien technology and is now going after mutants as well.  Including the Turtles, LeatherHead and Splinter!

Find out more about him in these Episodes:

"Space Invaders" Part 2, "Space Invaders" Part 3, "Worlds Collide" 1, "Worlds Collide" Part 2, "Worlds Collide" Part 3,  Bishop's Gambit, Exodus 1, "Dragon Brew", "Aliens Among Us", "Outbreak", "Insane In the Membrane", "Adventures in Turtle Sitting, "Good Genes" Part 1, "Good Genes" Part 2, "Membership Drive", "Enter the Dragons Part 1, Enter the Dragons Part 2, "Bishop to Knight", "Head of State", and "The Day of Awakening"
(Links will be added when there's topics for those episodes).

So what do you think of the Bishop?
Is there something about the Bishop you would change?
Is there any mission you think would of been fun if they did with the Bishop?
What do you think of how he looks?

Bishop has actually always reminded me of this guy.

I rather like him, as far as villains go. He's got a very large and encompassing propaganda that crosses paths with but doesn't focus entirely on the Turtles. He represents a fear and threat of a different flavor than an honorable death in combat. The threat that Bishop creates strips the TMNT of more than their lives, but also their personal identity and value. To be just a specimen...I'm sure that to many, that would be considered an end more horrible than a katana's felling blow.

As far as the character himself goes: his logic is irrefutable, which makes him all the more frightening in his efficiency. He's a man driven and ambitious, with the means of which to act. He's dark and mysterious, but not in a 'suspend belief' sort of way. His humor, though a tad on the morbid side at times, appeals to me. And the guy's got style. I like the fact that he is able to recognize his limits and retreats when he's outpowered. His retreating form is what makes him that much more realistic- He can be beaten, but it's damn difficult.

But I don't like what they did with him for the whole Fast Forward bit. For over a hundred years, with the technology available to him or that he modified himself, Bishop had been able to secure an exceptionally fit and prime body without age. Yet with the advancements of another hundred years, he resorts to a hologram rather than being alive in person? It's possible that he saw it as a more secure form of immortality...but it irked me to no end.

When did Bishop become a hologram? I don't remember that...

As I said, that's what I saw in Fast Foward. Granted, I didn't watch a whole lot of it. Quoted from ninjaturtles.com for the FF episode "Bishop to Knight":

Act 2: Raphael charges Bishop and leaps right through him, revealing that he's actually a hologram. The man then explains that much has changed in the past 100 years and he has traded in his old ways of espionage and covert battle tactics for old-fashioned politics.

Moronqueen - LOL with the image

What do you think of Bishop?

As much of a good bad guy he makes, I have never liked him - he tried to hurt Mikey, twice - thus my reason
But on a serious note, I think Bishop is one pretty powerful guy and one I won't want to meet in a dark alleyway, though I didn't like him in the FF series - too unrealistic to me.  He's intelligent and Kismet has pretty much spoke the words, so there is no need to be a parrot and repeat.

Is there something about Bishop you'd like to change?

In the Fast Forward series, there are a lot of things I'd like to change - change him to the way he first appeared in the TMNT series, the black suit went expremely well with him, not that science suit he was wearing  Shocked

Is there a mission you think would of been fun if they did with Bishop?

Errrmmm! Right now the only thing going though my head is The Amazing Race ... with HIM in it (that would be interesting)

What do you think of how he looks?

Very sophisticated, perfect for his personality

Kismet - Okay, that was a hologram. But there has to be a real Bishop. Otherwise how could Stockman steal his body?

I will say that Bishop has a knack for reinventing himself. When the turtles first meet him, he's already over 100 years old. But he blends in perfectly. Aside from being a mad scientist. Who happens to be scarily logical. *shiver*

He only showed up as a hologram when he first met with the turtles in the future.  I mean, they know him as an enemy.  What's their first instinct?  Attack (in Raph's case at least Happy/Smile (Anime Style)).  Bishop knows this and took precautions.

He later (in Episode 22 - Head of State) asked for their help again with someone who had it out for him.  In person.  He's 'gained their trust' as much as he can by this point no doubt (as Cody previously backed up Bishop's claimed of being President).  He's proven he's a good guy in the future at least.  More is revealed about how he became a good guy as the episode progresses (though, I'll refrain from saying too much since I don't want to spoil the episode). So he is in fact, not a hologram.  It was a pre-caution, it's also a running joke that Raphael falls for the hologram deal at least 3 or 4 times throughout FF and makes a idiot of himself.  Rolling Eyes

Bishop is definitely sadistic and morbid. I never really liked him because he was against the Turtles, but I will say that as a villain, he's pretty impressive with what he tries to do.

I really like Bishop's character. I like how he resembles Agent Smith from Matrix LOL Though in Fast Forward...yeah I don't like him at all. He's too cheezy in that series Razz I wouldn't change anything about him except for FF Razz I would love to meet the VA! Yeah but for writing fic, there's tons of stuff you can do with Bishop which makes me like him even more! Yes me and my love for baddies

So what do you think of the Bishop?
He was an excellent new addition to the TMNTverse: had style, brains, and I felt for him in the later episodes.

Is there something about the Bishop you would change?
None.

Is there any mission you think would of been fun if they did with the Bishop?
Was he ever involved in the Nano storyline? Would have been an interesting development.
