Murphy's latest post-- OMG--

*SEETHES*

http://the-5th-turtle.blogspot.com/2008/02/alas-poor-blog.html

Cut to the chase-- Imagi, 4Kids, and others are complaining about Murphy's sharing!

Words fail me-- or rather, PG words fail me-- I am FULL of the NC-17 stuff at the moment.  I imagine I could put a few "comedians" to shame with the language I wish to unleash upon such *fill in blank* people.

*sai* I wish I could say that I'm surprised, but I'm not. Many of the replies say that the actions of the "suits" proves that they don't care about the fans. As if proof was needed. Business people are only out for the bottom line, making money.  If that pleases those of us outside of the planned demographic, cool, if not...tough.  Sadly, the "suits" also have a tendency to have their heads implanted so far up their butts that they couldn't tell a bad idea from a crack...um...in the ground. *ahem*

And if they could paint that crack green and put 4 different coloured masks on it, they'd try to sell it, I'm sure...

Very sad....
I applaud Murphy, I spit on the rest.
They can keep their dumbly designed merchandise, I buy very little of it anyway. See if those 12 year olds or so go for it and support the revenue they're wanting to see.
And if the season to come after the Ninja Tribunal episodes air bites and the show tanks in the ratings, well they have no one to blame but themselves for wrecking TMNT. However, as they smell potential loss of $ already? Or possibly the negative comments by core fans because of the stupid stuff we're hearing is bothering them, they should step up to the plate and make something worthy for us. But that's not going to happen.
The problem will be that we are not the targeted audience, therefore......

Yes, and I saw this coming, too - I think almost everyone did, but we were hoping it wouldn't.

And I'm scared that this attitude will turn even MORE fans away; I'm seeing an increasing number of fans state that they won't stick for the long run "just because" it's Turtles. I don't have the heart to do that, but I can certainly see the point. Especially after the statement posted on Murph's blog.

I had a dream last night that I saw the end of the Turtles - in a very weird, funky way. o_O It was more amusing than anything else.

What I find sad in all of this is how these liscensing companies seem more upset over Murphy's honesty over the mistakes that have been made that they can't just admit he's right!

This is completely stupid! Murphy hasn't leaked anything that would spoil the season or the upcoming movie sequel. He's just gone through the process of telling the fans how things are done. I think this is garbage. Yeah, they don't care about the fans at all. A good example of that is Fast Forward. So, is the blog gonna be discontinued then or what? I've never gone there, but I might check it out.
